great location and hideaway! staff is friendly and helpful. hotel badly needs an up-date. food, both Western and Thai is mediocre, breakfast a disaster..... tiny little coffee machine never works..... bread selection is 2 star, cold cut too, chicken sausages were good though,

All hotel staffs, especially front receptionist and bellboy were friendly and enthusiastic. The room are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast are also excellent, delicious & various.

Beach Villa was comfortable and close to the water edge. Long expanse of sandy beach with clean water, good for swimming with shallow shelving and gentle surf. Single restaurant with reasonably priced menu but limited choice. In-room TV had poor reception and not many channels. Complained about shower head, problem rectified quickly but not completely satisfied. Location is good for quiet, "get away from it all" type break but nearest town is 40 km with little opportunity for shopping in between and nothing in the way of night-life or entertainment worth noting. Recommended for short (3-5 nights max.) relaxing holiday but do your shopping en-route! Addition of mattresses for recling beach beds on Villa verandah would add to comfort levels.

Our reservation was wrong once we got to the hotel and they did nothing to fix the issue. Booked a massage and that started almost 40 minutes late. It also took nearly 20 plus minutes to run our cards at the end of each meal. One afternoon it took over an hour . Not worth the inflated price.

Ok, Centara had been my first choice everytime I travel to anywhere, I think I’ve been to about 7 Centara hotel and I would recommend all of them. But not this one, this one is a totally nightmare. It’s really old, lot of dust in the room, and the worst part is there are giant geckos around the **** room!!! For god sake, the size of the gecko is terrifying... The legnth of the gecko is really long (from wrist to elbow) and not just one. 2 were in the bedroom, 3 at the balcony and that was in the dark so I didnt see clearly. This is disgusting. This Centara is really making a bad name for Centara.

Inadequate drinking water and towels for 5 guests. Inadequate eqipments for activities.

We couldn't ask for more...great beach,great white powder sand,great warm waters,great staff,great rooms and GREAT FOOD!The best surroundings: trees,animal wild life in the trees,sun,ocean,shells,fishes,stars...One of the best places to be on earth if we want calm, tranquillity...Everyday you will be surprised by the songs of Nature!Big studios/bungalows with a separate room,a large living/dining room with a flat tv,big sofa/bed and all the amenities to make coffee and tea, a fridge is also in the dining room. The bathroom is good with a rainy shower and come with all the products we need. I have to say that all products (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion) are very very good, made with lotus flower. The pool is in the garden right in front of the beach...Amazing pool!The restaurant serves very tasty food!The buffet breakfast is something special, varied, fruits, salads, yoghurt, varieties of bakery/bread,local dishes, variety of rice, soup,porridge, juices, variety of omelettes and eggs.Last but not the least: the staff! Amazing staff,very helpful,from the front desk to the restaurant, the housekeeping personnel that are very professional.All of them are very good professionals and will try to help guests with everything. Highly recommended this paradise!!!

Room is clean. The beach is really nice. Food at the hotel is just ok. My dog loved it so much. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had a very good stay, the room was very big an clean perfect for a family with young children. Very quiet place, the beach is nice. But there is a lack of maintenance of the whole place, perhaps because it was the low season.

great place to hide from city madness

Loved this hotel, one night stopover from Cambodia to Koh Chang. Loved the pool and just a stones throw to a private beach! Peaceful, tranquil and good value for money. Just beware the cost of a transfer to ferry or airport is expensive and there is no public buses so you have to go through the hotel!
