These guys placed a $1200 hold on my card and have not released it for over 3 weeks.
I have confirmed there is nothing outstanding multiple times. They have done nothing about it.
Very slow to assist, including during our stay where we asked for a dark and quiet room as we had a baby. The room is not dark, there is a massive light outside the window and their solution was to tape a cardboard box to it. This took about 4 calls to reception before anything happened and ended up falling off during the night.
Extremely slow service, not worth the expense. Stay somewhere that values their customers more and doesn’t hold your money long after you’ve checked out.

Beautiful large resort with great facilities and attractive architecture. Lots of shady spots to keep out of the sun. Nice snorkelling right off the beach. Plenty of options for families and adults to have fun without troubling eachother.
The only disappointments were the food and drinks. The cocktails we tried all missed the mark - mostly MUCH too sweet, and in some cases we couldn’t even finish them.
Breakfast at Navo (the adults only restaurant) was pretty good, but otherwise the food across the resort was generally substandard, especially for the price.
We discovered Yatule Resort next door had much better food and much nicer cocktails, so we ate there for the second half of the trip.
The service at the Intercontinental is good, although unnecessarily stiff and formal.
We would stay again, but next time we would dine only at Yatule Resort.

We stayed in a pool view room for a couple of nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony was large and enjoyed a view over the pool area.
The breakfast was lovely. We particularly enjoyed Navo restaurant which we went to both for breakfast and dinner.
The staff were lovely, very helpful. On our last night, the staff sang a farewell song for us and offered a welcome back which was a surprise and nice touch.
We really enjoyed our stay at the intercontinental and if in the area again, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

This place was amazing. The views and layout of the place was beautiful. staff and concierge was extremely helpful and always welcoming to us. IIiapo was such a great help for us, he made sure we were always taken care of and gave us excellent customer service. Breakfast was all you can eat buffet and all the selections weee delicious. If you needed to get around the resort you can request a ride and they get to you very fast to take you where you needed to go. We will definitely be staying here again when returning to Fiji.

Room was beautiful but bathroom needs upgrade. Bathroom counter was broken in places and one sink didn’t work while the other was stained.

The room was little bit untidy and dusty, but overall we ignored that and enjoyed rest of the services which was excellent and had good times.

Best holiday ive ever had, and i have travelled a lot. Everything was there at your fingertips. Buggies to take you around the resort. Dining options. A kids pool, and an adults pool. A club lounge. And the people at the resort were the friendliest ive ever met. Always saying Bula and very helpful. Definitely going back next year

Superb resort for family holiday. Staff incredibly kind to our children at every opportunity. Our family room had two double beds, large bathroom and had a bath on the balcony. Dining was very good in all three restaurants, Nova outstanding. Breakfast was an excellent spread of hot and cold options with good variety. The kids had different activities throughout the day including the daily “crab race”. Options for supervised care at Planet Trekkers were also good. Swimming pools were great and the beach was superb. There are adults only areas for those wanting some respite or travelling without children (infinity pool and Nova restaurant after 730pm). Despite attending when the hotel was at capacity, it never felt crowded. So many of the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to give us a good holiday, we are just disappointed we couldn’t thank them all. We would highly recommend.

It was lush and tropical and the bay was perfect to swim in and snorkel. The breakfast was wonderful, and dinner restaurants had great options (something for everyone).

Five VERY tired stars. Lovely tropical gardens and spacious rooms. The public areas are spacious and magnificent in proportion. The restaurants are easy to access but unfortunately have quite a boring base menu. There are parts of the built areas that need upgrades eg, lights missing or flickering, paint bubbling on walls, maintenance not performed as promised. There is quite an array of activities and all are fun. There are two pools which are good. Being 5 stars, the room rates reflected that rating. I was subjected to a strange phenomenon. on the room TV You can check your expenditure- I noticed a large fee which was not itemised, so I approached the concierge who immediately deleted that item with no further explanation other than “that shouldn’t be there”. Every member of staff is helpful, considerate and friendly.

The Intercontinental was a stunning resort, the staff were so friendly and we had attentive service throughout our stay. The resort is in a beautiful location on the main island, with crystal clear waters and a long beach. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was good, with a large choice of dishes. The only disappointment was the lunch and dinners, we tried both the Toba Grill and the Navo Restaurant, non of our family enjoyed any of our meals.

This property is exactly what you expect of a luxury resort. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our pool side room was boarded by tropical plants which made it very private so you could use the outside soaking tub. The seating area outside was large and comfortable. Our room was large and comfortable with coffee, tea, and water. A small fridge made sure the water stayed cold. The bars and restaurants had good food, good service entertainment every night. Don’t miss the cocktails at sunset on the beach.
