An excellent hotel in the heart of old town! Their reception and service in general is excellent. We were very well taken care of. Location is perfect. You feel you are in an old palace.

This is a hotel that is right in the middle of the main thoroughfair in town, right inside of the old city. So the location is convenient as anything could possibly be. It is literally right on a square where there is a market and dining in the evening. The area right outside the hotel is extremely lively and fairly loud but once you are inside, you don’t hear anything from your room. There are less than 20 rooms and the staff is very accommodating. Because of the location and convenience, the price to stay there is high, but we considered this a splurge. The rooms are large enough, but certainly not huge being that the place was built into a very old building of course. The breakfast on the patio is excellent and a pretty setting. It is part of a larger chain of premium, Croatian hotels.

Charming and old hotel. The restaurants amazing, location the best, you can see the Walk of shame from here. In the heart of old town. Excellent service. The only thing is that it smells a little bad, I think that is because it is that old! But I still recommend it if you want to stay in the middle of everything.

Fabulous location. Right in the middle of the old town We ate on the terrace on Saturday evening and it was a great spot to people watch. Food was lovely and the waiters and cocktails entertained us all night The breakfast was superb too

Incredibly located hotel in the heart of the city walls of Dubrovnik. Walkable to everything. Very friendly and accommodating staff. AC was average but was not in the room very much.

This property is right in the heart of old town which was great. The staff was amazing and beyond helpful—very proactive at anticipating what we might need and covering those needs before we even asked. We ate at Magdalena in the hotel for dinner which was intimate, but also open and charming—the food was impressive (we had the duck and the lamb and both were very satisfied), the staff was professional and matched our drinks/wine perfectly with the meal. Highly recommend the property if you want to stay in old town. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was air conditioning couldn’t get as cool as we may have preferred, but we still slept well/we’re comfortable.

Property Condition - Their air conditioning in not working properly. The hotel had added portable A/C unit to assist, but very uncomfortable. Room would not cool below 78 first night and 80 the second. We were with 2 other couples and their rooms were the same.

Great location

This hotel had all the history - hundreds of years old and was so cool imagining the people who have visited. The woman at check in is a dream - sweet, helpful. Everyone who was ever at reception was lovely and helpful. Provided beach towels for our trip to Locrum. Bellmen helped with luggage. Breakfast was first class, fine dining. The location is superb - in the middle of everything yet still quiet. Downside ~ we had a portable air conditioner that did not keep the room cool. It was in the 70’s during the day so we managed at night but for $500+ a day, the room should be cool for sleeping. Pros outweighed any cons but it all came down to the people!

Iconic hotel l wonderfully located in the heart of the walled city. Extremely helpful and professional staff. So much more convenient than staying outside the old town.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. The room was spectacular and the location is unbeatable. Directly within old town but with that comes a bit more banter outside of your window. Staff was great and included breakfast buffet was even better! Highly recommend. Parking is just outside the old town walls (8 mins walk) but was very costly (~60 euros a night).

Beautiful property, great staff, really nice experience

Perfect central spot to stay in the Old Town. Lively area with a morning farmers market outside and can easily explore the city. The staff we very accomodating and provided many recommendations to us. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The entire staff was amazing

This is a lovely boutique hotel in Duvrovnik old town. They arrange pick up at the airport and a porter at the town’s gate (no cars allowed in) to take luggage to the hotel. We had a health issue and hotel staff were great in helping us get medical attention. The restaurant there is good.

Fantastic hotel!

This hotel has the potential to be an amazing place to stay however the price is exaggerated and, in addition, the condition of our room was poor. Specifically, the in-room AC unit was extremely noisy (we had to corner it between things to stop the vibrations) and the bathroom was smelly due to odors coming from the pipes. To be honest, we didn’t ask for technical help since we were staying 2 days and didn’t want to be bothered.
