Parking is a serious issue in this part of Volos. We ended up with a parking ticket of 40 euros that could have been averted had hotel staff simply suggested non-street options. There was construction on the walkway getting to the hotel, but can't complain about that: it'll be gone soon enough. The hotel itself is situated perfectly: right on the harbor, with lots of restaurants and cafes near by, shopping not far, and of course great views.

The view of the pier was beautiful. The room was cleaned everyday. Staff was amazingly sweet.

Wi-fi was weak or out of order. Tv screen was small.

I had booked the three bed room and I got a double room with a folding bed. I should mention that anyone above 160 cm height will not fit in that folding bed. Sleeping in the folding bed is not confortable at all. Moreover, with the addition of the folding bed there was zero space in the room. When I asked the reception if there has been a mistake, I got a very rude answer. Apparently there aren't any three bed rooms in the hotel. Location is good, but zero parking around the place. The view was amazing but no chairs in the balcony.

Great location, right at the seafront of Volos. We arrived late at night, the check-in was quick and easy. The hotel was really conveniently located a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Amazing views from the room: the bay, mountains etc. The room was well maintained and the breakfast was ok.

Cheap and convenient, perfectly adequate for an overnight wait for the ferry to Alonissos. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to leave for the ferry before breakfast so cannot comment on the food.

Overall it was good stay, a few places must be fixed in the bathroom that is all. Staff was very good and easy to communicate. We enjoyed.

Hotel is well located on main promenade of Volos. Though a very active area, the soundproofing is great and the room was very quiet. Staff was very helpful. Room had a fabulous view and was clean and comfortable. We recommend the rooftop bar/restaurant. Great if you want to have the views but not all the noise of the ground level restaurants.

A nice and friendly hotel with the best location in Volos

I'd first like to say that booking through Hotels.com was not a good experience. I found, almost immediately after booking that I made a mistake on the start date of my booking. I called to make the change and they were inflexible, even though 5 minutes transpired from the time I booked and it was to begin in about 2 months. Its not like I called a month later wanting to change. Any way, the air conditioning took about 3 days to get the room tolerable (with the drapes drawn 24/7), not cool, but tolerable. Lobby, hallways and elevator are not air-conditioned. I'd shower before leaving and was sweating by the time I left the building. Also towels were face towel size. I could only get them half way around my body and they had the texture of sandpaper. Also, no dresser or furniture to put clothes in and the closet could only hold about 8 hangers. Thank goodness I was travelling alone. The only good part of the hotel was the roof top lounge. There was a breeze, comfortable seating and a nice view. However no service until 5:30 pm. Staff there had difficulties understanding English.

Perfect setting on the pedestrianised waterfront. Rooms smaller than expected for a family room, but the decor and fantastic view if the harbour through beautiful picture windows more than compensates. Helpful staff and reasonable breakfast.

The hotel was nice enough, the staff was a bit unfriendly (we had questions and she seemed more interested in hanging out with friends/family that had stopped by). There are almost ZERO food choices around other than the pizza/every possible dish in the world places on the warf.

Excellent service and helpful staff, very clean hotel with good breakfast. Fantastic roof top bar with panoramic views, especially good at night. Would stay again and recommend to others. Only problem is that there is no car parking and unable to drop off luggage directly outside the entrance so need to find a city car park with good rates.

Volos is a magnificent city. Kipseli Otel has the best view around the neighborhood.

Along the waterfront are a large selection of restaurants catering for a variety of tastes, the hotel cafe/restaurant is fine, but with a slightly limited menu. The reception and wait staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with modern furnishings and decor with a great view over the water, the ferries and the yachts.There are two points that need to be born in mind about this hotel. There is no designated parking area and parking is at a premium in this very popular part of Volos. It is going to be an issue in most parts of Greece, but it needs to be considered. The second point is the size of the shower. It was the smallest I have ever met and whilst I could fit in (and I am only just over average build) it was difficult to turn round or bend down. This may not be an issue for you and the view from the room and the overall level of comfort may well outway any issues with this facility.I would certainly recommend this hotel.
