This was my third stay in this hotel. Despite the buildings age the rooms are modern and comfortable.
The staff are excellent, very friendly, going above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. Was often greeted by name and asked how I was.
Cant wait for my next visit.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Warm service. Big rooms. Very comfortable. Nice communal areas and big Balconies. Bathrooms are a bit rundown.

The place is located right in the middle of the city so it's possible to walk to most major sites. The staff at the reception were most friendly and helpful! The room was of appropriate standard, it was clean and spacious. The airconditioning worked fine. We had a room with the view over the sea / port with a nice large balcony to sit and enjoy.

I came to spend the night only for business, checking in 22:00 and out at 07:00/ The room is way to small, like 9 meters total, the shower is tiny & crowded, the toilet was outside the room shared with more people. The place is neglected and the room had a smell of dampness. It was a really bad experience for me.

Hard to find unless you have GPS. The price was good! The bed was excellent! Noise was horrible. Only four parking spaces, I was blessed to get one. Very busy city area, no street parking. Every thing very clean. I loved the shared balcony and kitchenette. I loved walking around the neighborhood and finding a sandwich shop for an excellent dinner.

People were extremely friendly but the hotel needs doing up. The toilet, which is in the lounge area, was extremely old and needed cleaning. The bed was uncomfortable and our shower was in our room. It was really small and flooded the room when we used it.

One day before my booking date, the city of Haifa (and many others in Israel) was being set on fire by terrorists, friends recommended me not to go there for our safety, so I called and tried to cancel only because of that and they wouldn't let me, saying they are not in the affected area (btw, fire in the dry spread fast and easily) I would have to pay a high fee to cancel or change the check in day also with a fee. Also, At first they presented me a room with the toilet outside at the room's balcony, very unlikely to be originally built this way. In winter this is not a good option, specially traveling with 72 year old father. After arguing with the manager they gave another room, better one but not so good either.

We were looking for a cheap but acceptable place to spend one night in Haifa with a short time to plan things. The place is in a terrible area, and is a very old building that has been renovated (the only renovated thing is the bathroom I believe, and to a very simple and odd construction, with the bathroom being literally in the balcony (open) and a window to the room). We asked for two non smoking rooms, and since there are non, we got to a room with the smell of a place where there have been people smoking at least 50 years, so that was not fun.The room itself is pretty clean and it had one double bed and 1 single. The fact that there are rooms whith no bath room and that some people have to literally share bathroom + the general installations makes the hotel a real 1 or maximum 2 stars hotel, but in no way 3, more like an old renovated hostel. We had a bad experience with one receptionist called Colin, who was very rude at the time of check in and made the process very uncomfortable, very arrogant, and later on in the middle of the night (12:00 AM) called me to complain that I was blocking all the spots in the parking lot (which of course was not true). Its the very first time that a staff that represent a place where I pay to rest through the night disturbs my vacation night with a phone call, complaining of something not exactly true, very insolent.in my point of view its ok for a group of young people not older than 23 yo, and PLESE dont bring your wife.

Do not be lured in by the cheap price- you get less than what you pay for. A really unpleasant place to stay with decidedly dirty rooms and no redeeming features from what I could tell. The shared facilities for the "backpacker's room" were right next to the reception and with internal windows which disconcertingly looked into the laundry room. The paint is peeling and everywhere stank of smoke. In the morning I was woken by pigeons who were roosting next to my head- the windows do not really close! The "free parking" consists of four spaces in a box formation- no good if there are already four cars, and if you're in the first two spaces you'll find yourself boxed in. To be fair the staff were fine- although as other reviews have warned, you should assume that your room will not have a private bathroom and that if you want one, you will be asked to pay extra when you turn up.
