Hotel Petka is in very good location, 3 min to central bus station, a cross the street to port, 25-30 min walk or 5Euro uber to old town, more space to park car around hotel. Good breakfest and nice staff.

Just stayed for one night out of necessity. Not a hotel I’d choose to spend several days. Very uncomfortable beds and that’s a no, no for me. Bathroom lacked toiletries and the shower area was very small. Clean, overall, descent breakfast.

Basic hotel in Gruz port. Convenient for travel to the islands. Could use more outlets in the room.

A good hotel for a short stay, especially if you take an early ferry boat to the islands, since the hotel is placed at the harbour.Breakfast was very good!

The location was great if you were there to take the ferry to other islands. It was directly across the street. It wasn't very clean though. There were weird stains on the carpet, and hair all over the bathroom (floor, sink, toilet...).

Everything was really good

We stayed for one night between the three islands trip from Gruz and the ferry next day morning. Room was comfortable and quiet. Because we were leaving early morning, the hotel prepared for us lunch boxes. The location is great just on the other side of the road to ferry terminal.

We were mistreated at lobby bar and receptinnist at lobby.After a long trip we tried checking early there was no rooms available so we decided to kill some time and hang outside the restaurant's patio we ordered some drinks and had some of our own snacks we told by waitresses we were not allowed to have any snacks from outside. We moved to lobby reception and we were kicked out there too we were told to go eat in the parking lot. Very embarrassing moments for me and our colleagues I never had this happened before, staff was not even apologetic very straightforward. I will not stay here again.

This review is supposed to help others make an informed decision.. . I DO NOT recommend this hotel and for GOOD reasons... I booked this hotel on 5 weeks before I arrived for €66.15 for one person on hotels.com!. The continuously annoying pop ups when booking told me rooms are selling fast and the price may increase!!!2 days before I arrived the same room was just €35 on Hotels.com.the day before I arrived it was just €45. I met guests at breakfast who paid €39 for the same room for 2 people. the price decreased after the date I could cancel. the hotel told me it was out of their control and the responsibility of Hotels.com. (I am a gold member which obviously makes no difference). The hotel said they ONLY get €54 from Hotels.com!1. I booked a double bed to be told there are NO double beds in the 100+ rooms.2. My room was supposed to be on a high floor and have a view of garden...I was put on the first floor and there was a wall 2 meters from my window and NO garden.3. the bathroom stank of damp. 2 pieces of soap were the toiletries4. the classic room was a basic room.. no minibar (as listed on site). It was very clean but still stank of smoke and had cigarette burns on the furniture and curtains. I had to sleep with both windows open. 5. the room I got and paid double price of others was 2 star.. Im sure there are prison cells with better facilities!6. Breakfast was good but the staff were totally indifferent to the guests.

The location of the property is excellent, close to transport both bus and sea. We found the breakfast to be adequate and the bar service to be good. The amenities and the property room furniture could do with an overhaul for us it was acceptable The staff were as helpful as they could be, most knowing very little beyond Dubrovnik. Even the information kiosks were vague about relatively simple issues.

Tired room and no hot water in the morning :(. Staff were courteous, decent lobby.

Convenient location to stay overnight to catch an early morning boat to Split. Otherwise give it a miss. Get there early enough to enjoy the balcony with port view on a sunny afternoon. Excellent restaurant Amfora nearby but full of mosquitos the night we were there.

Staff were pleasant and helpful, yet thy were unobtrusive.

Very convenient location but other than that not.much for the price. The staff were inflexible and often unhelpful, I was put on a floor with loads of school children who didnt stop shouting and banging doors all night. TV didnt work. And I was charged in US dollars which made it much more expensive than I thought Id booked for (this is an example Expedia issue though)
