İt was very nice and not very expensive, my husband said he really liked the breakfast. The second time we stayed we got a larger room which was better indeed.
The only thing i want to note is , after taking a bath the bathroom floor is insanely slippery

I really loved the whole vibe around here. The staff was incredibly friendly and wanted to make your stay very good. The room was cleaned everyday. I really recommend it when you’re on a budget. Everything was clean and good and I don’t have any complaints. Thank you so much hotel Baylan!

We stayed in a total of 4 different hotels across Turkey during our recent trip. This hotel had the least friendly, helpful or accommodating staff. They was never a greeting upon your return or an acknowledgment of your presence. We had little help working with them when our airline was attempting to deliver our lost bags. When we attempted to order a drink from their bar, they had no mixers. My boyfriend had to go out & purchase them (with no price reduction of course)! There was a greater language barrier here than in other locations. The room & bathroom was tight like most hotels in Turkey. The breakfast was the most basic of our experiences. You can do better. Keep looking!

Great location, despite an initial worry driving through very narrow streets to get there. Lovely atmosphere old streets around the hotel, in the historic Hotel Street.
The only hotel in the neighbourhood with a car park, thank goodness, otherwise parking could have been very difficult. No problem with availability when we were there.

Only complaint not enough storage in bedroom or bathroom, but then again it is in Turkey!

The staff was very helpful. Hotel is very old and the furniture is very dated. Needs complete renovation. Price very affordable.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel is good for those on a budget. The first room we got was very dated. Frankly the furniture needs replacement years ago. The second room was much better.
if you can spend a little more then I encourage you to do so. Again the staff was excellent!

Highly recommend this hotel . From the moment we arrived we were treated extremely well . Management excellent . Staff polite friendly , caring concerned .from our house cleaners to front office to dining room each staff .member went above and beyond helping us we felt like we were family

The hotel was perfect, the personal is great. They let us check in before the hour and we loved the room, it is very clean and big enough. The street where the hotel is not the greatest but the train station and public transport is near. We totally recommend the hotel

I had a great stay! The staff was very friendly and service-minded and many of them spoke English. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a suite with a huge private roof balcony! The room was really comfortable, clean and very quiet. The area is a bit sketchy, however the location is convenient as the main railway station is only 3 minutes walking from the hotel, and also the city centre is reachable by foot in around 15 minutes. I will for sure stay here again should I return to Izmir!

The hotel staff accommodated me properly especially the one in the reception who allowed me to print a very important document. He didn't hesitate to help me and I couldn't thank him enough for that.
The hotel has had a very welcoming vibe because of its wide parking space in the entrance and the atmosphere outside of the hotel is very comforting and peaceful.
The room I stayed at had everything I needed, from clean bath towels and hot water to warm beverages. The room was big enough for me, in fact it was bigger than what I needed, and it had enough places for my stuffs.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to other travelers!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is very convenient to the metro and ancient Smyrna. Both are a short walk away.

Hotel was not in a touristy area - area was more local.

Lovely hotel 3 star but as good as any 4 star. Staff are fantastic and very pleasant rooms cleaned daily and nice breakfast included in the very reasonable price. Very nice manager and a lovely feeling setting all around.

Overall a very good experience..the hotel is dated but very clean.The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating..Always greeting with a smile and kindly willing to fulfill a request.I thank them for the kindness..it gave a positive and cheerful feel to a mundane business trip.

Stayed 2 nights in a 2-room family suite. Very comfortable, clean, fairly good selection in the breakfast buffet. A laundry service, which was very helpful after a week of traveling. The wifi wasn't working well, however. The hotel is conveniently located (the trainstationis jut 5 minutes away). Overall a very good option for a short visit.

We booked the hotel for three days. The rooms were clean with all amenities. We had a plesant stay. The staff was courteous. Among the staff, special thanks to Volcan for extra helpful.

The airconditioner in one of the rooms was not working. Luckily it was winter time and opening the windows helped however this is a noisy location so was not a great solution

Very clean, staff friendly and helpful even when we came in in the middle of the night. room well decorated and pleasant tp be in. reading lights near/over beds provided.
suggestion. should have had a matteress cover under the botom sheets. Otherwise beds very comfortable. would recommend this hotel to friends and would stay there again if the occasion arose.
