Very clean. Good price. Convenient location. Would stay again.

Rooms are comfortable and absolutely adorable with the forest-floor design on the floors. We really enjoyed our stay. Nice coffee bar (but coffee whitener, no creamer). About a mile from the heart of Banff where most restaurants are, so walkable. We did not go to the sister hotel for a hot tub and it was all self check-in so we did not see other staff or guests.

Awkward going to another motel for key access.

Overall a pretty nice motel. Loved the lighting and cleanliness, perfect. However, it was missing some essential things for the washroom (no conditioner), no slippers, and lack of services available. Location was a little isolating without any help- having to check-in and out from another hotel location was a hassle. Otherwise, it was pretty decent. Not sure if the price was reasonable though, could probably find a cheaper place.

Very convenient for shuttle, the room was cute. Paint needed minor touch up in our room.

Rooms were lovely and clean and that’s all that matters but it’s in a less appealing little area. But once you got inside your room it was good!

The entire stay was wonderful. Loved it all.

Easy self check-in. Room is big and clean. Microwave, small fridge and electrical kettle are very convenient for the travelers.

The motel while clean needed some maintenance, toilet was loose from the seal as well as seat, shower slow to drain seemed clogged. Housekeeping did the very minimum to service the room. Overall for the price not worth it.

Comfortable stay. Short walk into town centre or can take free shuttle bus. Parking was free and pretty easy at the property. Also can use pool facilities at the sister Caribou hotel which is very nice. Would be happy to stay here again.

Large pretty room with equipments. Many places for your car next to the motel. You can go by walk in the center of banff. Gas station just next to the building. It's the caribou lodge just few minutes far which does the check-in. The restaurant inside, the keg, was delicious (but a bit expensive for some people, however trip in national park area is globally not cheap).

Spacious room but found some hair in bed and on some pillows in both beds. Dingy pillow cases. Inconvenient to check in (had to go to another hotel just to check in) especially when we arrived late in dark. For some reason, the room key didn’t work the next day but one of the housekeepers opened the room for us. Called the front office to ask for assistance with the room key but the staff never bothered to knock on the door to check. After waiting an hour, I called the front desk and was told that the staff returned to the other hotel because we were not standing outside. Since we were planning to check out next day, we just stayed in our room. I did not want to wait for the staff to return.

Fittings in bathroom and doorknobs are not sturdy. Very small room

The Dorothy was a great place for our stay in Banff. Rooms are clean if a little tight for four adults sharing, bathroom was nice and modern. The courtyard was a lovely spot to enjoy a rest after a day exploring. The only issue was the check in process with the app was a little confusing and slow at first but is pretty straight forward once you’ve got the hang of it.

Beautiful courtyard for relaxing, newly remodeled so everything looked fresh. Woukd definitely stsy tgere again.

Always good at the Dorothy

The Dorothy was spacious, clean comfortable and the rare hotel with lots of lighting. The staff was wonderful, offering free transit passes that we used everyday. Great location. The restaurants were a short walk and we could take a free bus to shops. Brand is incredible with breath taking beauty. The mountains are so closed.

this place was just far enough from town, but still close to walk or drive. Plenty of parking and close to A & W and gas station

Didn’t like the fact that for $300/night, there is. I breakfast offered.

On the whole, we were very satisfied. The room was comfortable and quiet. Our only complaint was the floor which was dirty. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was updated yet the toilet never worked!

First time we have stayed and will definitely will book here again next time we visit banff. Theres no frontdesk lobby here but everything is done through the app including keyfob for opening your suite which is very convenient. No lineup, no talking to anyone, simple and easy check in. Rooms are clean and have everything you need for a night stay. Parking is free and right outside your room. Very quiet place and theres a gas station, convenience store and a&w right beside it which is very convenient! Its banff so the price of the hotels in this town is quite expensive, maybe if theres a complimentary breakfast atleast or a pool/hot tub, i would say it would be well worth it. Other than that, great place to stay in banff!

Our room faces the forest and mountains away from the Main Street so we got a lot of peace and quiet!

This property was spacious and clean very near bus stop for all routes. Also walkable to main shops and restaurants etc. Excellent value for money
