Second stay here. Hotel looks a bit work down, and some staff are not friendly. The pool, riverside view, nearby street food option and public transport options (buses and ferry) are the plus for thus hotel.

Great quiet riverfront position within an easy walk to ICONSIAM

This hotel is definitely a hidden gem, riverside view and tons of eateries just walking distance from the hotel. The hotel provides shuttle service to the BTS Sky Train (free) and also other shuttle services for a cost. Check-in counter staff and restaurant staff are all very friendly and spoke English as well. There was security on site 24/7 and were always friendly and respectful. The room was spacious enough for the two of us, however the shower was shaped as a triangle which made it a bit small and awkward to take a shower. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and the convenience of having a restaurant on site. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to our family and friends. Thank you ibis Bangkok staff, we'll see you again on our next visit!

Hi, The rooms and bathrooms are tiny. It's like an inn as there is no luggage bell service. House keeping is just like formality & their behavior is very cold, you can't ask them to do anything . They aren't even organising & cleaning the room tables & replacing the dirty dishes/mugs witg fresh ones. Even the pool couldn't attract me to take a swim. Restaurant is not serving any Indian food for vegetarians.
The only good thing is property is newly renovated & the riverside location is good.

We stayed for two nights. Very friendly staff and room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The evening meal we had was disappointing and waiting time was unacceptable. Would consider staying at this hotel again.

We always stay at Riverside when we arrive at Bangkok.
We find it clean, comfortable,nice. Style and staff super efficient and pleasant not forgetting riverside view , restaurant and swimming pool.

Great location. Lots of food and convenient store just outside the main road. There is a wet market walking distance away and IconSiam is also about 15mins walk away. There is also a ferry pier nearby to get to Sathorn Pier. Hotel also provides free shuttle bus service to nearest BTS station. Room was comfortable with great river view, but the shower area was a bit small but manageable. Would stay again.

We enjoyed the quiteness, the good beds, the place on the riverside, the breakfast in the garden, the size of the hotel - its not too big and not too high. Reachable from Krung Thon Buri Sky Train station by foot, ferryboat to get over to other ferrys reachable by foot within a few minutes.

Nice quiet place, friendly and easy going staffs. Property needs some renovations. But overall there are still in good shape. I stayed there for 19 days, love this places.

My family stayed this hotel for 3 days and we love it. There is convenient hotel and center of transportation go to China town . The breakfast is delicious and many optional.

Stunning location right on the river. Amazing pool for all ages. Fabulous buffet breakfast with lots of the usual available. Rooms small but very functional, bed comfortable, linen clean and fresh. Air con worked really well in my top floor river view room. Only a 10-15 minute walk to incredible shopping mecca Siam Centre. This is also where you can catch the river boat rides. A total bargain in my opinion

The room was like a cheap college dorm room. No dresser with drawers...lived out of our suitcases. The toilet paper was the cheapest quality. The triangular shower stall was uncomfortable to use. One box of tissues by the window...not in the bathroom.

The Ibis Riverside is great value! We loved the location, which was convenient for public transport but off of the main thoroughfare, and a river view is worth paying extra for. We didn’t have breakfast included but ended up paying for the breakfast buffet because it was such a great way to start the day. Our room was small but large enough -- who wants to spend time in a hotel when there’s so much to do outside! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff is amazing! (I’ve stayed here about a dozen times.) Very good breakfast buffet with numerous delicious choices of food both Thai and Western. Staff is cheerful and very helpful with luggage, transportation, where to shop, tourist map, etc. Beds are comfortable with clean sheets and towels. Convenient to pier, ferry, express boats to ICON SIAM and the hotel has a shuttle to the MRT (commuter train). Good Thai food restaurants nearby Also, a 7-11 for essentials. IBIS Bangkok Riverside is my favorite hotel in Bangkok.

This hotel is particularly convenient for us because it is near to my wife’s place of employment. The best feature as far as I’m concerned is the pool because it is fairly long, about 25m, and rectangular and I like to swim laps for exercise. The price is reasonable.

It's clean and very family friendly. It's safe. And it's within walking distance. There were many delicious restaurants around.

I've stayed here several times in the past 8 years and have always enjoyed it.
The location is great! Same with the staff really great people.
This past time I stayed in three different rooms while traveling around Bangkok. We have relatives close by this was the reason going back here on this trip (booked ahead).
2 of the rooms were in need of repair, floors were in bad shape and had roaches in 2 of the rooms.
Don't think I'll be staying there again.
