Our stay was great, this is a quiet resort and there were no kids insight which was nice for us! Our room was tidy and spacious! The bed was a huge king. We found accessible to walk from our hotel to nearby restaurants. The scooter hire from the resort was more expensive than down the road and they could not provide helmets and also gave us scooter that had no petrol. Our room was not ready until after 2pm and they did not contact us we went back to reception to ask.

Nice hotel , breakfast was good. Pool average ,sand in the pool from people coming straight from beach as there was no shower to rinse.had a few issues but were fixed straight away.Great position.

Great breakfasts, big villa and clean. Sonia at the front desk was amazing and so helpful. Good massages.

The Indiana is a really unique place to stay. Lovely room with private courtyard. Beautiful pool(s), with a restaurant / bar flowing on to the beach. Good location close to plenty of other restaurants along the beach front. Friendly and helpful staff

What we liked: Location, the private beach, pool, size of the rooms. Breakfast (you can choose from three different sets on the menu) was alright but nothing to shout about. What we didn't like: Noise at night and in the morning around your villa (think motorcycles going off, dogs barking, roosters crowing, you can also hear people talking). I expected better amenities for a "luxury" villa e.g. bedroom slippers, toiletries (usually we aren't fussed about bedroom slippers but the villa had no rug and the floor feels kind of dirty without them). Bed was on the harder side. Limited beach chairs at the private beach so you have to go early to reserve a spot if you want one.

Indiana Kenanga is very well located and walking distance to spa, restaurants, Magoo bike rental, etc. If the skies are clear, you will get stunning purplish/orangey sunsets and you will see the yolk disappearing to the last bit. Amazing. Service is great and the French restaurant serves great breakfasts (minus the ubiquitous flies found everywhere in Lembongan). There are two small pools by the two restaurants and a good beach lounge area with great music. It is interesting to note that there are a few private villas within the villa compound. Our villa #19 was all the way in and it seemed like we were bordered by the roadside. The soundproofing is bad, and we can hear roadside noises and our neighbours from their bedroom clearly. The villa itself is spacious. We wore our slippers in the villa as the floor did not feel clean for us to be barefoot. Airconditioning is good. Toilet is fine. The shower area’s rainforest shower did not work well so we did not use that. The normal shower was a little tricky to adjust and the water pressure was very strong. The villa provided Balinese style shower amenities but we preferred using our own. We travelled as two couples and we definitely had a great time in Lembongan and we will recommend Indiana Kenanga to other travellers too.

This hotel showed its 4 star elegance with superb, spacious rooms and general facilities. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much to ask of them. The porters were also always on hand to assist. The hotel has 2 pools, one internal and near the spa and one on the beachfront. The locality to the beach (less than 2 minute walk) is great and there are plenty of sun loungers if you want to stay in the same place or watersports if you want to get out and about. The on site restaurant serves great food, although it is expensive compared to what else I had in Bali and on the island. The 4 star rating certainly comes with 4 star prices. I would recommend looking at the local restaurants and eateries for other options. The main negative was the external noise when in the room. It sounded like scooters were actually in the room from about 5am, we were that close to a cut through. Granted, there is little that can be done about this but it did affect our quality of sleep and relaxation. Maybe some sound proofing may be an option?

Stay was amazing, absolutely loved every minute, our own piece of paradise. Breakfast was delicious... staff went above and beyond on my birthday request and helped make it a fantastic stay!

Great place but because of the open rooms there are tonnes of mosquitoes and insects. I had to wake up at the middle of the night to slay a giant spider.

Lovely decor and great service from staff. Bed was quite comfortable although a little on the hard side for our personal liking. Also the area could be quite noisy at night and first thing in the morning. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

excellent villa - private pool and outdoor area. couple of mozzies but not too nasty. great location, and superb restaurant.

Everyone was super nice there and they even did something special for us, since it was our honeymoon. Our room was so cute and private, only two complains is that the room smelled like mildew from an extra set of pillows and comforter stuffed away to be used as extra linen. Then the Netting on the top of the bed (that was there in the event any birds pooped) was dirty and that grossed me out.

Very spacious room with a garden courtyard. Quiet (except for the roosters). Really enjoyed my stay.

The Hotel is located on the best spot of the island, great sunsets and just infront of Shipwrecks one of the best surfing spots around. The staff is very kind and helpfull, I totally recomend it!

We didn't get much sleep the first two nights and the hotel kindly moved us however you cannot get away from the sound of roasters going off all night. Ear plugs were provided however they had little affect. On a plus note the food in the restaurant is well worth splashing out on.

The hotel is overall decent, but much can be improved to make it nicer, for instance having a steady wifi connexion (we did not have wifi for 2 out of 3 days), a more smiling crew or better room cleaning... These are details that make a difference and should be worked on at Indiana Kenanga. Positive point: the food at the restaurant is amazing, and the spa & pool area really nice.

The hotel is very nice and the restaurants are absolutely a hit. I read lots of reviews about not so good breakfast, but that will be for the ones used to the typical “American buffet”, let me remind you, this is a French restaurant. The food at lunch and dinner is absolutely amazing, we didn’t even bother to try around because we wanted to tray the entire menu. The people at the hotel were all incredible helpful, including managers and owner. We felt we were at home. I didn’t give 5 points to cleanliness because the mosquito net on top of the bed is full of bugs which should be cleaned every day. Also on comfort the villas all have a very small split A/C which is not enough for the size of the room so do not expect a cold room. Im planning to return to Lembongan and I will not look any other place, I’ll come back.

The rooms are not sealed!! Air conditioning is for a conditioned space not one that is open to outside!!
