Property owned by a family. Very friendly, great service for the price

The family who runs this place are extremely nice and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and the location felt safe.

I had a good experience. Clean room and towels. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable.

Nothing was good. They advertised breakfast when we arrived they said only coffee.

I was told breakfast was included but upon arrival, they said they only had coffee.

This is an old run down motor inn from 1940s-1950s Americana. Bed was average as was tub/shower. Lights all worked, outlets hot, water both hot and cold, linens clean, no bedbugs, a dead insect here and there (better than live.....at least mgt is trying). NO BREAKFAST despite advertising, coffee pot out but not fresh, BUT the price was cheap. It was a bed for $52. Nuff said.

Average older, budget minded motel. Room was accommodating, didn't expect any extra's. Excellent value given the price. Wish they would explain 4% credit card swipe fee BEFORE the swipe, I'd have paid cash

Stayed during a hunting trip. Don’t need fancy but this was worse than usual.

Godsend during bad weather conditions. Facilities are decent quality for a motel and we had a good rest for the night.

There was hot water for the shower, but not much heat for the room. No hair dryer. They advertised a breakfast which turned out to be weak coffee. On the plus side, it was inexpensive.

I liked the room it was clean the sheet were very clean. The motel needs an upgrade, but t enjoyed the stay.

The room and bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable but the room was dated and bathroom in need of renovation. TV is small by today's standards. Driveway and parking lot is in need of a complete overhaul Okay for a quick over night but just okay. Advertised to have breakfast but doesn't. Would not recommend

The king size mattress was great and the sheets were clean and fresh. What surprised me was that when I reserved the room it stated that we would receive a free breakfast but when we checked in we were told that they stopped doing that.

The entire parking area is rough and not striped. Has a nice central picnic area though.

The room was over 90 degrees. I found the ac but had to stand on a chair to access the controls. Luckily it worked and had cooled the room down after 3 hours. The area is run down as is the hotel. The bed was really comfortable and we both slept really well.

Great shower. Good control of amount of water and temperature. Showrrjeaf easy to direct.

When I got there, the lady behind the counter was very nice. I got to the room. It was almost as hot inside. As outside. The air conditioner has not been turned on. The condition of this hotel was extremely poor. A lot of patchwork done not sanded down to look nice. Mismatch tiles needs a very big overhaul. Beds were very comfortable. They seem to be new. I think it’s the only thing in there that isn’t from the 1950s. One trash bag only. No tissues no coffee in the room. It was advertised to have breakfast in the morning. We went over there and there was nothing and I was told that’s what Expedia says but we don’t do that. Extremely misleading I already heard you say that and I said you get up there and wait to this movies done

We liked first floor, water pressure was good. Bathroom was filthy, ring in commode, floor filthy! White soap scum all over the tub, rusty drain, stain on towell! Need some hooks to hang things on. Need LOTS of work!!!

Poor maintenance and lack of electrical outlets.

The price is nice. The bed is comfy, the pillows are flat. The place is old and needs an update. No breakfast. The floor is dirty and the walls are thin. Just sleep and keep your shoes on.

Water was hot. Mildew in grout in bathroom. Sheets had small holes. Said breakfast included, there was nothing.

Everything really was OK. Only disappointment, no breakfast in the office, but it said there would be on the hotels.com website.

The Budget Inn was exactly what I reserved, no frills. The motel was a little off the beaten path, more in the community away from the interstate. Friendly, quick service with late night check in around 10:45pm. Our room was clean but a little rundown feeling to it. Also, we were next to a room with a family that may have been on extended stay there. They had their door open and were loud for quite some time after our arrival. The noise included loud pounding of something, adult voices, and toddler crying or playing loudly. Just strange stuff happening at 11/11:30 pm at night while we were trying to get to sleep.

Not the perfect stay, but for the price it is certainly acceptable for somewhere to sleep. The staff were very kind and helpful, the room was clean, it was a quiet/safe neighborhood, and all basic needs were met. It is nostalgic of the motel on the highway to Grandmas, definitely not a Hyatt Regency experience...but then, it does not break the bank.

This property would have been decent if the rooms were actually clean and the parking area wasnt nasty w muddy gravel. Upon check in front desk greeted me in pajamas and made me sign a non smoking contract which was great considering i have allergies to pets ,cigeratte smoke and ashes. Upon entering the hotel windows were open in 30 degree weather im not sure it ever warmed up lastnight there was blood on the door facing to the restroom,feaces on the wall ,black ring in the toilet,no toilet paper,dead bugs everywhere,filthy floors,couch was disgusting,and turned the bed back to a cigeratte burn in of the middle sheet,and black hairs everywhere. We left w no money ,no sleep,and disgusted if was expedia i would not list them any longer its a tourist trap! And housekeeping should be fired and owners take more pride in there propertiy! I would be ashamed to be apart of that facility! KEEP GOING DONT STOP AT BUDGET INN COLBY KANSAS SOMEONE CALL THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!

Last minute stay, perfect for good nights rest

I didn't like the $63 ad you put up. When I checked in the price was $93.

The young girl checking us in was friendly but upon entering the room there were bugs on the floor since the door was not properly secure. Also there were stains on the sheets and my kids refused to stay the night so we used the room for an hour to rest and then drove the rest of the way home! Was very disappointed we didn’t get to stay the night.
