The pool is a must with teenagers, and it was lovely. Lovely garden surrounding pool with chairs to relax in.

The motel was quiet with spacious rooms. Very well appointed and close to shops

Parking right outside the door. Pool and gardens were very nice but the weather was not good so could not use them. Disadvantage was bedroom just had sliding doors to the lounge area , it was not separated by a wall so could hear Tv from bedroom.

Very good, great staff. Big room just could do with a topper on the bed Definitly be back though

Did not like the beds. Very uncomfortable. The sofa bed was a disaster to take out and put back away.

Lots of grime in the bath but good staff and made good use of there Netflix account on the tv there

Overall a good motel, but the accomodation is a bit outdated and cold in winter (buildings lack insulation). Friendly owners though!

Great place to stay with the family - as we were travelling around the East Coast, this was a great place to chill, catch up on washing (love the Air NZ airplane seats in the laundry - got the TEAL/Air NZ link there!), and the swimming pool was perfect for those hot Gizzy days.

Great place to visit for beach life, also visited Tolaga bay and walked the longest wharf in New Zealand. Beautiful weather when we there and also enjoyed a platter at local vineyard. Bushmere Estate. To be recommended.

It was great for someone like me that worked in the area for a short period. I was able to relax when I got back to the unit. Do my paperwork thru wifi and enjoy the stay

Very clean,light and airy studio room,decent size for two people.Although situated on main road the motel is set back far enough and does not suffer road noise.Goes size sitting out area that allows privacy although an outside table would be nice to have.No air con in our unit but there was a fan (temps were high 80's).Kitchen has oven and hot plates, which is very useful. Only minor snag is there are no restaurants within walking distance but the town is just a 5 minute car drive.

It was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and made you feel comfortable and welcome and it was a nice relaxing atomsphere.
