Woke both mornings early by renovations happening close to our room. Price we paid was more than confirmation email stated. Hotel was clean and everyone was friendly.

It was a fine stay but not worth $420 for two nights. The bath tub was gross and someone else’s hair was on the soap holder. There was a part of the ceiling in the shower sagging with a little hole in it. There was a loose tile on the bathroom floor right in front of the toilet. The bathroom door was splattered with something .. and it had ran down from the handle. Super dusty. Just crazy I was expecting a lot better quality for the amount we had to pay. The hallway was so hot like it was a crazy difference from our room. It was also very loud in the hallway with the other guests we could hear them in the room next to us. The elevator and hallway carpet was so old and worn down. I don’t get how they can leave it super outdated and charge outrageous prices.
Won’t be going back here.

Great location close to the Market and St. Jacobs Theatre. Had dinner at Jacks which was just next door to the hotel and food was very good.

It says no pets allowed but service animals are, incuding personal health pets. The room smelled like dog and we were told by management that pets werent allowed must be the carpet only to hear a dog bark 10 minutes later across the hall.

Check in was friendly and timely. Upon entering we discovered a large puddle in the bathroom. Maintainance arrived soon after our call and said he fixed the problem but soon after there was another puddle and they had to come back. There was black mild on the shower ceiling. The coffee maker did not work. The carpet needed to be vacuumed.

Check in was smooth. Our room was clean. This morning I went to take a shower at 8:00am and the water was barely warm. My husband showered after me and it was even colder. That’s my only complaint, the water was chilly in the morning! It was super hot at night however.

Cannot tell you about our stay because we had a death in the family and the hotel was non-refundable - we were unable to stay, but were still charged.

Great hotel, yummy free breakfast. So close to everything we wanted to see. Literally across the road from St. Jacobs Farmers Market.

The room was really nice but there was tons of pesty bugs flying around the breakfast area and all over the juice dispenser. We were swatting them while eating. The breakfast wasn't that great. I tried to close the lid on the oatmeal but the lady working there told me to leave it open which isn't very sanitary with bugs flying around. Coffee was very watered down. We will go out for breakfast next time.

Booked it last minute with the family staff were amazing kid loved the pool and the little splash pad the beds were super hard felt like I was lying on the ground or plywood that wasn't so great with having to drive 8 hours once checking out breakfast wasn't great felt like it was boxes eggs and precook sausage and bacon was so hard 2 year old wouldn't eat it even tho it's her favorite breakfast meat

Location is good, can walk to farmers market, room is spacious, bed is not too comfortable, squeaky , hard to sleep on. No hair dryer in the room, need to request from the front desk. Breakfast is sufficient, good for a quick stay.

Stayed for 2 nights. Only found out on the last day that the bed linens had a few large blood stain spots. So GROSS!

I booked this property because of the pool for my grandchildren. The pool was closed upon arrival. I needed to ask 3x for bedding for the pull out, the last time I was handed a set of sheets to make it up myself. Then I needed to call again for pillows and a blanket. With my grandchildren there were not enough towels and it took 2 calls requesting them before they arrived. Our room was never made up, or even given fresh towels.

Perfect location for our stay. We were there to go to St Jacobs Market and it right across the street. The restaurant next door, Jacks, is one of the best. Everything homemade with generous helpings and great tasting food. The indoor pool is the perfect size and water temperature only would have been nice to have a hot tub available as well with regular sized tables at a few sitting areas. But that is minor. Overall beautiful place to stay. Staff is pleasant and the free breakfast is good

Exceptional assistance from the front desk staff. Expedia had failed to inform the hotel of our request for an “assisted room” because I am disabled. I needed a walk in shower and a low accessible bed. Holiday Inn did not have any available, however, they very kindly gave us an accessible suite in the adjoining hotel. And they checked on us later to see that all was ok. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was a very nice variety of breakfast items, hot and cold.
