Great property and great location. Room was very cozy, clean , comfortable bed and nice view. Hotel has a great restaurant with a cute patio. Located on a very live street with lots of options for dinning and entertainment. Will return for sure.

Rooms are clean and modern. Hotel is modern hip and modern. There is a restaurant in the lobby. Area is convenient to everywhere Northriver, I was able to walk everywhere during the DNC. Allot of food and bars. A fair rate and great if you need something comfortable to sleep while in town for a few nights

I only spent one night and the staff were excellent willing to help my room was clean and I thought that because I was closer to the elevator that it would be real noisy. It was not and when I returned to Chicago, the aloft is where I will be staying again.

Awesome stay!

Everything was great!!! I wish the parking was a bit more easier to navigate through. We had to park two blocks away and walk back to the hotel. Someone actually broke into my car in the parking structure. Other than that, everything was great! The parking really was not Alofts fault but I wish they had their own parking lot/structure directly next to the hotel.

Only was able to stay one night at the property. The Hotel was having issues with the AC but the staff was extremely helpful with setting us up with one of their sister hotels.

Arrived late evening for our 3 night stay, only to find out the air conditioner in the hotel quit working in the afternoon and a our reservation had been canceled. Nobody had contacted us to let us know our reservation has been canceled. This was a major shock and caused great stress. Luckily, they were able to rebook us a room. Granted, the hotel was pretty warm until the air conditioner started working again and caught up with the demand. Parking is $69 a day. Yes, $69 per day. Highway robbery. The staff was very friendly, the rooms well-appointed and comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of everything in the clubby, trendy River North area. Short walk to the Grand redline station as well. Would I stay here again? Probably not, due to the AC mixup and parking cost. I think we'll try somewhere else just to compare and contrast. Not a bad experience at Aloft but certainly not great, either.

The staff were amazing! Everyone was kind and when we asked for any kind of service it was done quickly. I'd be happy to stay there again.

The AC on the entire property went out at some point before I was set to check in. The woman at the front desk told me it just happened. It was extremely humid and warm so I didn’t think that wasn’t the case. I got no call, text or warning about the AC before arriving to check in. I was given the option of a full refund and cancellation or they could help get a reservation at their sister property a couple minutes away. I chose the second option. They did take care of the new reservation and cancellation. However, the valet parking was a different story. My car was already taken by valet when I arrived so when the new reservation was made, AC Hotel was supposed to transfer the valet as well. Not only did that not happen, but the wrong car was brought to me. It took about 45 minutes to check out and finally get my car on check out. I understand this isn’t a situation someone will run into often so I know they weren’t prepared for this but the communication was terrible, from no warning to the valet.

I did not stay. They couldn't find my booking. For some reason it never transfered from Expedia. Then thee A/C was down. So the manager canceled my booking and said I wouldn't be charged.

Excellent stay

Checking in was very simple and took only about five minutes before retrieving my key to the room. The person who checked me in was very friendly informing me of all the restaurants available on-site. The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night rest after a night of dancing!

I love River North. There is plenty to do and the train stations are close for easy access to all parts of the city.
