WiFi doesn’t work, no USB charging ports, very small room, minibar that isn’t cold, and super sharp edges in the shower. Not a 5-star hotel unfortunately :(
It also seems previous reviews have complained about similar things (eg outdated rooms) for 2-5 years which tells you the management does not care. Checked out early to move to Park Hyatt instead. Such a shame!
No complains about the staff though, they were kind and professional.

Housekeeping services were sub standard to say least. Had to call reception to get room cleaned. Used towels were not removed. Dust everywhere. Lifts take forever to come. Not at all a 5 star property.

The rooftop bar has a world-class view. The dining in general at the hotel is fantastic. The location is near many attractions. There is also a market walking distance from the hotel which added to the convenience.

The staff at the property was really good. Our room wasn't ready upon arrival but it was also New Year's Eve and the hotel was very busy. In general the room was very nice and clean, hotel staff was great. Roof top view was very nice.

Stunning hotel, rooftop dining and bar was absolutely exceptional, the staff were so good to deal with and the fact that they were able to speak fluent English helped so much, very clean and stylish hotel, would definitely stay here again.

While I have frequently used Marriott hotel properties in the USA, I was very impressed with the overall image (property) as well as the service and quality of services (food, help, services bar and snacks), cleanliness and courtesy and caring of the staff. I would definitely rate this hotel among all my hotels worldwide

It was amazing. Staff was incredible from the front desk to housekeeping. I had a problem with the television not working, called and it was handled expeditiously with a smile.

Overall great property! I usually stay at The “W” when traveling to Bangkok, but this trip I wanted to checkout this Marriott location. I only had a few minor issues with my stay and one was housekeeping kept knocking on my door and even enter when I was trying to rest. Even though I informed of no service the first time. The other issue was I wanted to enjoy the buffet for lunch with a guest to talk about business proposal, but seemed the restaurant was totally reserved for a in-house group and it forced us to sit in the lobby for that specific time and that took away from the full guest experience. Maybe use group signed for specific areas so regular guest are aware where they can go or not.

Shower is great with awesome rain shower head. You just don’t want to get out from the shower.

The hotel is close to MRT, but several stations from Siam. The bath room and toilet occupy more space which make the bedroom smaller.
The service was not up to the standard of what we expected from Marriott. Running out of toilet paper, we called the counter to refill it, but it was not delivered after one hour until we chased again. The tissue paper was not refilled during room cleaning up.
