I had a clean and cozy room during my stay. However, I was stunned with all of the construction going on. I understand that there are circumstances, it is that I was taken by surprise.

The room itself was great. Everything else was two thumbs down. Parking is tiny and if it runs out, you gotta park across the street.
My whole point of this location was to have access to the river walk and be able to walk to the Pearl and river center mall since it's right in the middle (distance wise). Since they are in the middle of renovations, I had to walk a few blocks around the hotel to the river. No access through the hotel.
I'm sure things will be great in a couple of months when they are done renovating. For now, stay away.

My partner and I went there for a weekend in San Antonio. The whole building was under construction and there weren’t any soft closings on any door so there was constant noise and doors slamming. We picked a room with a balcony and view of the river walk however, our room was situated in front of a dog area so our view was obstructed. Finally, when we came back most nights we noticed the front desk attendant sleeping in the office. We probably won’t be coming back.

We're excited to see the new renovations at this hotel! The updates look fantastic, and we can't wait to experience them during our next stay. We loving being able to get up and take a stroll on the Riverwalk. We are big fans of Pearl, but can easily walk to the Alamo and the heart of the city.

The hotel is very convenient. The Pearl Brewery and downtown are both easy walks. The room was very nice and clean. The hotel was undergoing an extensive renovation, and that caused some disruptions. But I enjoyed my stay anyway. I would stay there again.

Major construction all around and inside hotel. Only one elevator was working and it kept getting stuck—while we were on it. We had to take the stairs to the 3rd and 4th floors. We listened to the sound of high pitched saws during breakfast. They really should’ve shut down during this construction process. Also—it was difficult finding the property because of no hotel signs.

The property is currently being renovated so there is lots of dust and loud working early in the morning. $20 parking fee daily. Service was fine but they need to let customers know this so that we can make the decision to stay under these conditions.

Expedia did not mention that the site was under renovation. Most of the amenities were shut down and the hotel was noisy. I am sure that when complete, it will be lovely. It is in a great spot on the river on the north end.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The rooms are nicely remodeled looks very modern! Nice new features! My husband is talking about coming back already! My kids enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi. The Riverwalk is right behind the hotel. All was clean as well. Looking forward the the finish look😊

I absolutely loved my stay here. My room was beautiful and the hotel staff were very friendly. I got to meet the GM because I had a problem with my door but she took care of it immediately. Its a walk from all the festivities however, it is right off the river walk and the freeway which was a plus for me.You guys deserve this review. Thanks. I will be back for sure.

We were very close to the Riverwalk in San Antonio on the north end. The Riverwalk was a convenient way to get to restaurants, etc. Although there was construction/remodeling at the hotel, it did not interfere with our stay.

Halfway between the North and Downtown River-walk, and easily walkable or via river taxi. Excellent food and service by all staff. Shrimp Jambalaya is the best I've had. Congrats to Wyndham Reach!

The Wyndham Garden hotel was very comfortable. The room was newly renovated, clean, and the balcony overlooked the pool and the river. There was some disorder due to construction, but it was not intrusive. The hotel is very clean, and I watched an employee wipe down every chairs and tables at the pool each morning. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Very nice location to stay out of the hype, but nearby. There are many local bands nearby you can walk to, but they do play till 2 am, which you can hear even with the patio door closed. Not bad when the air conditioner was on, though. I will plan to stay here again.

The staff was amazing, they were extremely attentive, friendly and very helpful. The property is under construction, so many areas were closed off with plastic and a bit dusty, which flared up my allergies. Aside from that, the only other very important part that I was not too happy about, was having to pay an additional $20 per day for parking. There was never any mention of this on their website, or in the terms and conditions. Last, the suites were a whole lot smaller than I anticipated, but the room was extremely clean, modern and cozy. What made everything well worth our troubles was that the view was beautiful!

Like a lot of hotels since COVID, rooms could use some updating. Overall the staff was friendly. We ate at Burboun Street restaurant each morning for breakfast, the food was great.
