It is an oasis of peace and calm. The minute we drove through the gates it was as if we were miles from the big city. This was our third visit here and we will def go back on our next journey to India. Walking distance to the beach makes this property even more attractive. We had some difficulty communicating with the wait staff at the restaurant. But, all balanced out well. The location near the airport just can’t be beat if you have an early flight. You are literally 10 mins from the drop off.

Great location , great staff. It would be nice if they had left instructions on how to use the TV somewhere for the convenience of the naive Traveller

No Bar, no liquor license at this hotel. I learnt that the hotel did not have a bar only after I arrived I did not check in at Uday Suites. Instead, I got a room at Uday Samudra, Kovalam - another hitel owned by the same group. Uday Samudra was fantastic

Close to airport, a little disappointed on food , and cleanliness, I have stayed at this property in past before a few times , I felt the standards had dropped and was a little sad to see this as in the padt I enjoyed my stay ,

The room was spacious and property just 10 mins drive from the airport. The staff were also very helpful any time I needed assistance. I asked for a room near the lift and they tried to find one for me. I had lost my wallet in my room and the staff followed up with me closely, even though I called at 3am.

Staff were really frendly .and informative. When we left tjry all came out and said goodbye and gave us a cake .very over and above

The hotel and the room was pretty run down. The room had a very musty / moldy smell. We tried to order an airport pick up, but did not get a response. In the morning when we checked out the staff was extremely helpful and nice. However I would not want to sleep there again.

A wonderful, quiet hotel with beautiful grounds and art. Excellent food; beautiful pool and courtyard; good spa treatment; very helpful customer service. Close to beach. No alcohol here (fyi).

I spend a night before morning flight out of Trivandrum. It is very close to airport. Staff are very helpful.

I had a great experience at Uday Suites, Thiruvanantapuram. Breakfast was delicious.

Amazing place! The room and restaurant are very clean and the quality of food is par excellence. The service in the hotel and restaurant is excellent - the staff are courteous, helpful and have a positive attitude. I was unable to fully utilize the amenities at the hotel, but I wanted to. They have specialized Ayurvedic treatments, a warm pool and a short 15 minute walk to the beach. Their attention to detail and making your stay as pleasant as possible comes across in all their interactions. Their amenities and services are as good as the ones available in good hotels in the US. The hotel is located amidst lush green vegetation and yet only 0.9 km from the airport. The only downside to the stay was that the hotel was difficult to find and the approach road was narrow. I rarely write strongly positive reviews but this hotel was a rare find. I intend to travel back to this hotel and spend more time next year when I visit India again.

I had dinner at the restaurant, and that was good also. The landscaping is beautiful. Its a short walk, maybe a few hundred meters, to the beach. In the evenings a lot of families go there and its fun. You do have to take a tuk-tuk, taxi, or Uber downtown, takes fifteen to twenty minutes. I had a great time at the zoo, also visited the Kerala Museum and the Napier Museum. By staying at the Uday, you get to stay at a resort, but you are in easy reach of an interesting city.

Stayed for a couple of nights.Nice clean hotel, lovely pool, very close to airport. All staff friendly especially Reji who very patiently sorted out new flights for us after having our otiginal flights cancelled. Would definitely stay again.

Good Hotel But Double Price On EXPEDIA better to book this from other website.

Pathetic customer service, run down rooms, lack of customer service training to employees especially Manushi @ Reception - worst front desk customer service personnel that I have come across. These people reuse the same bed-sheets, dirty and stained towels and unhygienic bathrooms. All the cooked items were ice cold for breakfast even at 8 am. Even came across blood-stained bed covers. Just book somewhere else! Better safe than sorry. Not sure how they managed to get 3.5 star rating when the facilities dont even deserve a single star. Interestingly, all these were a part of the Exotica premium package which is supposed to be better than the standard rooms. I can only imagine the kind of rooms and customer service which would be offered with the standard rooms.
