This is a well run pleasant hotel. If you are game it’s an easy 3 km walk downhill into town, and as it’s a bit uphill back there is a tram right behind. Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

This was such a pleasant experience. What a wonderful charming slice of Croatia. The staff was very friendly. The hotel was beautifully decorated. We felt this was our most authentic Croatian stay of our 2.5 week trip. We ate dinner at the hotels restaurant across the street. It was also very Croatian and decorated beautifully. The food was authentic and the prices were less than we paid at all the other Croatian restaurants along the coast. The food was delicious.The free breakfast was also very good.If you want a Croatian experience in Zagreb, stay here.

The property was beautiful, furnishings fabulous, staff wonderful, bed super comfy, restaurant was really wonderful.

Amazing place, not only beautiful but full of history, tradition and Croatian hospitality. The room was so beautiful and the entire hotel is like a gallery of Croatian history. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is one of the best in the whole of Europe. I can't recommend this place enough to have a true Croatian experience.

I’ve never met a more genuinely friendly staff, which is the true selling point for the hotel. The WiFi works well and the complementary breakfast even included vegetarian options for us (vegans have a few options as well). There is a restaurant next door as well but the vegetarian options were limited so I didn’t try it.

I enjoy this enchanting place a lot

This is our 4th time to stay in hotel Puntijar. Room should be checked and cleans properly before guests arrival. Everything else is OK.

The service set the hotel apart. The furnishings were as beautiful as we'd hoped (which was why we selected this hotel). The location was far more convenient than I expected from looking at the map, 15 minutes to downtown was about half what I'd planned - very convenient.

The hotel is old and has some antique or near antique furniture. The air conditioner would not get the room any lower then 75 degrees which is to hot to sleep for me. The breakfast was very good. Fresh scrambled eggs and all the European breakfast offerings. This was not as close to train station as I thought. If you have a car this would be better than a city hotel. Not much within walking distance. I wound not stay again because of the air conditioning. Check out was extremely slow, it over 15 minutes, 2 other people were ahead of me. She finished my check out just as my cab arrived. The restaurant next door was good and gave extremely large portions. Hotel guests get a discount.

Loved the old Croatian style mixed in with modern features. The dinner in the restaurant was amazing. Dishes from 18th century Croatian cookbook. The breakfast was great. Loved the charcuterie and the salad, very nutritional. The staff was smiling and very polite. Would stay again!

The staff was amazing. We met the owner who was a gentleman and very personable. The hotel is a very elegant place. We loved it. It is a short drive from the historic district.

large and comfortable room. Pleasant and helpful staff. Good parking in quiet neighborhood. Tram or bus transportation to center city close to hotel. Safe wasn't fastened to anything-so didn't use. Bathtub with shower didn't have a shower curtain or enclosure.

We stayed here for a few reasons. We wanted Parking, a bathtub, and a great restaurant. This hotel had it all. Great staff.

Unfortunately we could only stay one night, but was a great choice of hotel, in a perfect location for our business. Will definitely use this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel were excellent, sensitive, and responsive to any questions, flexible, and especially empathetic with our situation (due to a health situation), providing practical help and system. The friendly and helpful staff are the best and I can not say enough to show our appreciation.

We were concerned about the hotel's location when we arrived by taxi but there was no need to be worried. The tram system is so efficient that we were able to be in the centre of Zagreb within 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and attentive and our room was spacious and well equipped. Happy to have chosen it for our very short stay.

Little far from center of the city but all the rest is perfect
