Room full of flies upon c/in..

Rude staff, nothing felt clean. Absolutely unpleasant experience.

I was very impressed with the staff. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly as were the housekeeping staff. Would stay there again.

Very lovely lady at reception However when I got to my room I noticed that the cleaning was very rushed I especially booked that room so I could cook myself some dinner But when I went to get the pots and pans They were still dirty from the previous client Also there was a lighter and bumper’s left on the balcony There was no toilet paper on the roll holder I was very disappointed And ended up having to go out and by myself some dinner Ps I do have pictures if you need to see them

For the room rate I was expecting less so it was a great spot for a stop over to enjoy the bay, clean and comfy with free parking

Air conditioner did not work

Just a night away with partner. I found the bed uncomfortable and being so close to round about a care driving around and around it was loud and woke us at 4am so over experience wasn’t great

Clean and comfortable and great location.

We’re extremely happy to have discovered Peninsula Nelson Bay. Very roomy and comfortable for our large family. The kids and adults had their own space. Beds were comfy and large kitchen with complimentary items. The standout was incredibly friendly staff. We were allowed to check in very early after a long overnight drive, luckily due to availability. We frequently visit Nelson Bay so will definitely return on our next trip. Much appreciated.

3 night stay, only holiday for 2 years. The all in one manager/cleaner/reception lady couldn’t care less, she was rude and wasn’t able to get anything right, the roof was rattling all night, each night so sleep was difficult, there wasn’t a knife or tea towel in the kitchen and new towels etc were hard to get so we found the open cupboard and helped ourselves. It could have been so much better if the people running it cared. Won’t stay again. Nelson Bay and the area is stunning and lovely with great restaurants and lovely walks

Nice motel excellent rooms and close to a good club. Only downside is that they txt you info on your room and how to get in after hours but their computer system doesn’t work so the txt was not sent, this also happened to others.

The motel was really good and close to everything. The staff were nice

The TV set did not show the Digital Channels.

Basic but convenient.

Our room had an odd smell to it, stains on everything, Hair on the linen, shower door came off the hinge as soon as I touched it. Dirty linen trolley left at the bottom of the stairs the whole 16 hours we were there

Apartments was clean and tidy. It was pleasant to stay. One thing i noticed there was not enough toilets tissue and no tissue box and toiletries include only shampoo and conditioner but other than that apartment was good. Bit noicy as my apartment is close to main road. Highly recomend.

The website was out of date, the shower terrible, in room amenities ordinary and TV that worked intermittently. Would not stay again by choice. Whoever rated this 4 stars was either dreaming or out of touch

The room needed maintenance

Unfortunately me and my friend who stayed at the peninsula hotel Nelson bay, had the worst time we could ever possibly have, we got woken up at 12:30 by the people that were staying next door, they were blaring their music so loud it physically sounded like it was in our room, they were loud and noisy, had zero respect for anyone else in the vicinity, this went on until 4:00 in the morning, we then looked for a phone to dial “9” which was stated the after hours reception or emergencies, but we had no phone in our room so went to the one on the wall outside and there was no answer, we then confronted the people staying next door and they disregarded us and continued to be extremely loud, to then jumping the fence in to the pool right outside our room, we felt extremely unsafe to the point we left to drove an hour home, at 4:15 in the morning, I then called the manager in the morning to receive some sort of refund for our extremely unpleasant stay that we didn’t even get to comfortably be in till when we were supposed to check out, she proceeded to call her general manager and call me back, they said we could not receive a refund all because we had booked on a different platform and not directly through them! I am extremely upset and pissed off, it is extremely disgusting behaviour and I would never recommend this place to anyone! Do yourself a favour and never stay here!

The property and the beautiful place, my family and I were very satisfied with the property, the only problem is that it does not have laundry inside. Otherwise excellent, I will return soon. thank you

Unfortunately the property was not very clean internally. - Carpet badly needs replacing - very stained and dirty -Only 1 window had a fly screen - couldn’t leave window open in the second bedroom as our toddler could have climbed out -Holes in walls - needs repainting too -Very dusty fixtures and light globe missing from one lamp - No wifi reception where we were -Apartment didn’t get serviced for 2 days & couldnt get new towels as reception was closed @ 5:30pm (although it was Easter Sunday). Still I feel they should have been serviced - Old musty smell as soon as we walked in Could be perfectly liveable but needs work. Judging by other reviews it appears they all get the same response but things don’t seem to be changing

Easy to access, clean and tidy, suited my family fine for our short stay.

Was a cute little room, nice location The room wasnt very clean. Especially the bathroom/toilet. Being a housekeeper myself I can tell what’s been done and what hasn’t.

Location was so close to the beach. Wonderful place to stay.

Unfortunately the bathroom hadn't been cleaned well. There had been a leak in the room so the bedding was stained, and room smelled like wet dog. When I told them about it, they weren't particularly bothered. Good Location though.
