Nice little place. Just what we needed.

For me this was an ideal hotel to stay in. I don't need all the facilities of a 4 or 5 star. It's small and friendly and all the staff made me feel very welcome. There is excellent parking and the food in the Bar/restaurant is delicious. The hotel is located in a nice area and its quite safe to walk about. There is a little shop across the road as well.

Be warned! The "restaurant" is actually a pub. The food was really good, but it was extremely loud. Also, they supply earplugs in the rooms. I dont know if the rooms are above a disco or if it's an event space, but it's THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! all night long.

A disaster from start to finish. Arrived at 3 o’clock check-in time to be told there was a problem with the room. It later turned out that the room had not been serviced from the previous occupants. I wasn’t told how to get to my room, breakfast time, Wi-Fi passcode etc, just handed my room key. I pointed out the bedlinen had not been changed from the previous occupants to a guy who wasn’t sure whether he was the manager or not, and he assured me that the sheets were clean when they blatantly weren’t. No towels, bin not emptied. My room was above the kitchen/cellar fans which ground and vibrated right through the night. My room was right next to the function room and there was a 60th birthday party going on until 1 o’clock in the morning. I got no sleep whatsoever. I went downstairs at around 11 o’clock to ask a guy who told me he was the restaurant manager but wasn’t what time it would be finished, he said he would speak to the disco guy and ask him to turn down the music, if anything it got even louder. I came down for breakfast at 8 o’clock, there was nobody around apart from the housekeeper. I asked for a full refund, and was given one.

The owners and management should be extremely proud of the accomodation they run. Can not fault anything at all. Wish we could have stayed longer

I was a bit wary as the reviews were mixed, but suited me for a very last minute booking. Very comfortable, well-equiped room. Especially liked the fact that there was a decent fan in the room as hotels are always roasting in August! Also appreciated proper black-out blinds and curtains. Breakfast was excellent - recommend the eggs benedict! Only criticisms - woken at 3am by what sounded like furniture being moved around! And a slight damp smell from the towels. Would stay again

The room was dirty and the window almost fell off when I tried to open it. It was difficult to get to the room - a series of stairs and narrow hallway with folded up tables would impede on in case of a fire or other emergency need to evacuate. Not safe. Bed was far too soft and uncomfortable. We ended up moving to a different hotel. The staff were understanding and did issue a full refund, which was appreciated!

Surprisingly excellent. Staff are very very good and the service spot on. Breakfast included, very nice, great choice of breakfast. A couple of weddings going on when we were there, so expect a bit of music, loud, but no worries.

A relatively pleasant stay but with a few niggles. The windows in room 5 don't close properly. The bin lorries come at 5am on Fridays and park right outside the window. Food issues were resolved rapidly and in a friendly manner by staff. Breakfast not starting till 8 is evidence that this is not a business hotel. All that said, I would happily stay again

The place was cosy and spotless and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The vegi breakfast was also great. First class stay.

Lovely hotel and staff. Food was delicious and fantastic choice on the menu. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to people.

Bathroom-not cleaned and dirty. Hot water-no hot water after 7pm. Breakfast-on weekdays it serves after 8am and on weekends it serves after 9am! On my 3 days staying I wasn’t able to have breakfast even for a day because I had to go out at 8am.

Stayed here one night for a gig at Hampden park. Staff couldn’t do enough for you , so friendly and welcoming. Hotel itself is lovely & clean , rooms were excellent and breakfast amazing. Thanks again

nice and quiet,and close to city centre

Nice place, clean very good bed.hood restaurant. The place is very noisy, there was a party , my feeling was that i was seated at the bar when i lay on the bed. I could hear my neighbour snore.

need toilet roll holders instead of on top of cistern

The worst booking let alone stay there I was robbed by the glennifer and hotels .com so anybody else DONT book with these guys all they do is nothing unless it suits there needs to make commission on there an absolute disgrace to the hotel industry

Excellent little hotel with attentive staff and a good overall condition and feeling. The only down side was that the cellar cooler was left on during my first night and was rather noisy and irritating throughout the night. They turned it off every other night and I achieved good nights sleep.

Spotlessly clean, staff friendly and ready to go above and beyond

Terrible, don’t stay here! They hold functions in the hotel with the music blaring throughout the night. The walls between rooms are paper thin & you can hear the other people staying in the rooms, poor door lock- you can only lock it from the outside, poor breakfast.

With a husband in hospital, my dog and I have been made to feel very welcome at the hotel at a rate which has meant that I have been able to afford to stay near to the hospital. Other pet friendly hotels were so expensive that I would have had to drive home (150 miles each way) between hospital visits. I now intend to be a very loyal and regular customer during visits to Glasgow. The hotel feels like a home from home.
