Great location! Very clean and large rooms to accommodate 3 adults. Sofa bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Free coffee 24/7. Parking was expensive but convenient, recommend booking in advance though because it is very limited. Breakfast was an extra charge so visited a nearby bakery which was very delicious.

The service both before and during the trip was brilliant. Everyone was so helpful. The location is great, a few minutes to the harbour one way or a few minutes to downtown Reykjavik the other.
Would have loved an opening window in the bedroom for some air but appreciate that's not an easy fix.
If we were to return to Reykjavik we'd definitely stay here again.

In the center of town. The apartments have absolutely everything you need and are beautiful. The only problem is the pull out couch which is not comfortable to sleep on. Otherwise a beautiful property.

We were there during the cultural celebration so all the local streets were closed and we were not able to park near the hotel. Other than that, food options in the area were good. Shopping was close by. We walked to the big church and watched the end of the run by all participants near the finish line.

Black Pearl has limited on-site parking spaces available and nearby its elevator, which worked great for me having limited mobility. The kitchen has all the cookware and utensils I needed to cook my special diet. Its location is great as well with easy access to a lot of restaurants my wife liked. She and I stayed there twice during our recent trip. Agata and the rest of team are very helpful! We would stay there again if we ever visit Iceland again.

Perfect score on the fundamentals: Spotlessly clean, centrally-located, accessible, comfortable, tastefully-appointed. Check-in/check out was a breeze. Kitchen fully equipped. Cheap parking nearby. Would stay again.

1. When I tried to check in the employee told me to come back because she was eating.
2. Doorbell didn’t work, light bulbs burned out, clock needed batteries, room not cleaned. I had to find the staff to clean.
3. The road noise was HORRIBLE. You couldn’t open the windows because it was so loud then it was hot.
4. The bed as not good. The pillows were really bad. Two pillows together barely equaled one pillow.
5. No prior communication about the parking situation, Drove around numerous times until we could park on the street only to be told that we couldn’t park on the street by the lunch eating employee.

Lovely place! Kitchen and washroom are perfect. Blackout curtains are great for the summer. Fantastic location close to everything. Although parking garage is advertised on the website, it may be full. Paid street parking is available all around.

Beautiful and upscale apartment. Great bedroom and master bathroom, great kitchen and great living room. The only weird thing is that if you have a guest staying in the living room on the pullout couch, the only bathroom is in the bedroom. But other than that, this is a great apartment. Great location and they even offer parking in the garage (for a fee).

You will never be disappointed. Much luxurious than any other hotels. Place is neat and clean, well equipped. Close to everything! They also have a private garage where you can pay if you rented a car.

This is by far the cleanest hotel that I’ve stayed. It is also huge that can comfortably stay for 2 2 people. It has a bedroom that has a king sized bed and a pull out queen or kind sized sofa bed that can sleep for another 2 people. Harder to find room that can sleep 4 not 3 people. The hotel also pre-stock the room with lots of amenities such as multiple shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, even shaving and dental kit. We also unfortunately left our slippers at our previous stop and luckily this hotel has disposable slippers as well! Yes, the price is a bit high compared to our other stays in Iceland, but given its amenities, cleanness and can sleep for people of 4, I think it’s well worth the extra price. Highly recommend it!

Very nicely equipped. Rooms were clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Staff was friendly. The location was fantastic. Around the corner from the bus stop for tours. Surrounded by a tone of food and shopping options. Short walk to main shopping area and Harpa Hall.

The apartment was spacious and perfectly maintained. The well-stocked kitchen made preparing and serving grocery-store purchased food easy. The fact that breakfast was available for purchase was a great convenience. The portions were generous and the food was well-prepared.
The front desk was polite and accommodating. I appreciate that they loaned me a converter when I needed one. They always offered me coffee and answered any questions I had.
I didn't love having to walk through the garage to get to the elevator to my apartment. That said, I am grateful that the area lit up when I entered it. If the property could put up more permanent directional signs on the garage walls as opposed to just having signs taped on the garage entry doors, I think guests would feel more comfortable.
