Sraff friendly. Room is old but clean. Beds comfortable.

Clean, friendly, good location wonderful re PET FRIENDLY establishment even to the point of providing a dog run area for off lead - great for travelling with bigger dog (although other dog owners have not been so gracious to clean up after their pets in the run area! (A sign could be warranted)

shower had issues and so had to reach uphigh to turn on the tap. The iron was unsafe to use and had to alert the management about it.

Ocean View Motel was great, being convent on the way into Bowen.

I Wi-Fi was very disappointing and rooms are showing their age. While they were clean enough the bathrooms do need upgrading.

Easy access off the highway. Clean rooms which are pet friendly. Room overlooking the pool and the ocean.

Friendly service and comfortable stopover stay. Rooms are a bit tired but comfortable. Pet friendly rooms and lovely pool and view of sea. Air con worked well. Will stay here again. Right near the Big Mango where we stopped in for some ice cream.

This property is a little gem, a little on the old side but you have everything and it is clean and tidy and has the best ocean we have ever had in a motel

The family room I booked was nothing like the advertised one I booked. It had a double and 3 separate single beds. The room we got was tiny and had one double and squashed near it was a bunk and a trundle. The bunks were close together and you couldn't sit up. The shower only had a shower curtain and an open room to dress in after the shower no door for privacy. A pet gate across the bedroom was dangerous at night. The family room was extra at $150. And we were very disappointed and felt ripped off. The whole room was awful. We will never stay there again and we are telling everyone not to stay there.

It's pretty dated and the room had a strange layout. Front door opening into the bathroom area, no partition between bathroom area and the rest of the room etc. It's definitely a no frills place, but fine for what we were looking for. It does have a nice view from the front porch area though

I had a great view and property was easy to find. Will definitely stay there again

Comfortable room that suited my stop over with ease free check in.

Only small issue was that it was noisy due to traffic. Motel is on highway.

It’s a must go, you can watch sunrise in your bed, wasn’t that amazing?

Only spent one night here but a very comfortable, clean and tidy place. Easy check in, friendly, fresh milk and there was longlife in the fridge too. Undercover park for the car right outside the room. Decent sized room. Thought there would be more noise as it's on a main highway, but didn't notice it over night. Had great night's sleep.

Basic, older style but clean and comfortable stay. Location is outside of Bowen heading south and on the highway. Despite this, rooms were quiet. Rooms appeared to accommodate people travelling with pets (dogs). There was a child safety gate between the sleeping and bathroom facilities for this purpose it is believed.
