Very nice and lovely location

Very happy with the stay! Would definitely go back. I was useless and didn’t read that I had to specifically arrange a way to pick up the key because we were arriving late but they still left us the key much to our relief.

I didn’t spend much time at the motel, but while I was there, I felt comfortable and content with it.

Please extend my apologies for rhe owner & person @ the reception deak. Last night qhwn i arrived, although not late, i was tired & didnt fully realize that I'd rented a cabin; pssobly review your postinf & make it clear that they are cabims & as such, 1 has to be prepared to walk 🚶‍♂️ to the toilet & to get water. I want to extend my apologies over my previous assessment

Nice place, you have all you might need there. Even though it's right on the main road it was nice and quiet in our cabin. And lovely views inland.

Great stay with late checkin

Nice and clean, good size bedrooms, comfortable beds, big and comfortable sofa bed, seperate bathroom and toilet, close to town, nice farm view from the balcony, the lady at reception is lovely. However, kitchen is very small with very limited cookingware, only 5 chairs for an 8 people booking, very busy road at front, the guy at reception really needs to improve his customer service, we need to clean up after using the kitchen and put everything back to where they were also put away all the rubbish, price is high for what we get, won't go back there again.

The beds were amazing

If you are taking a pet you may need to check with the proprietors. We had to pay extra as although we chose from the website that said pet friendly the proprietor said not at this time of year after we arrived and had already paid.

Great hot tub for free

Great stop over location for a night. Parking in front of the cabin was ideal for all the extra gear packed in our car. Easy location to get to the beach/shops.

Booked here because of the hot tub but didn't use it in the end, prefering just to catch up on reading. It would be great to have had the bathroom mirror start lower so I could see more than my eyes and the top of my head!

Extended family including grandparents and the rooms were perfect with snow capped mountain views!! Hot pools. Well located.

Def one of the best.. waking up with those mountains was spectacular. perfect holiday spot

Absolutely brilliant and great value for money. Really friendly assistance at the front reception.

Only stayed 1 night but its very conveniently situated (3 mins from Whale Watch Kaikoura). Looks like there were lots of on-site amenities (eg pool). We didnt use these as we were in late and out early, during the winter.

I had a great stay here (3 nights) and would absolutely return & recommend to others. I stayed in an ensuite room with kitchenette- it was large & immaculately clean, nothing could be improved. The kitchenette has a hob, microwave, toaster, kettle along with crockery and cutlery. There was tea & coffee provided along with fresh milk in the large fridge. The ensuite was large, spotless & with plenty of towels and soap/ shampoo. Large comfortably bed looking out over the pool area with a large sliding door which allowed for a nice breeze throughout the space. There is a film on the glass to obscure people from looking in, but there's also a blackout curtain and a thinner curtain you can pull across independently, so depending how much privacy you want you can pull one of both curtains. The communal areas were spacious & clean; kitchen and lounge area, pool & hot tubs, laundry facilities ($4 for the washing machine (takes 30mins with adjustable settings) and $4 for the dryer (45mins with adjustable heat etc settings). There is space to park cars/ camper vans etc. and there are clean showers/ toilets to use for those camping. The site is close to some shops/ restaurants and roughly a 10 -15 min walk into town/ railway station. The staff are super friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The setting was lovely, the camp was well lit up during the night, I would stay there again but not a cabin serviced accommodation next time. Thank you team.
