Great location, very convenient, but the room was soo tiny you can barely walk past the bed.

Didn't have a bin in my room. Noise from the hallway made it hard to sleep, not very sound proof.

Had to change the room as the first one had an abundance of cockroaches

Very basic, clean and comfy bed. Don't bother with breakfast, had water leak from shower onto the floor and carpet - which has been there for a while as mould was growing and walls rotting

Very dated. Property not maintained well. The painting is peeling off the walls in the room and broken toilet paper roll holder. Also tiles are falling off the walls in the corridors. Breakfast was average and often running out of items .

When I read the reviews I was honestly almost ready to cancel because I was so scared they were right. Well, I can tell you that I have no idea what the reviews were on about because even as a professional cleaner, I was happy with my stay. I stayed in a room for a few nights as I had a concert in the QBA nearby. Very short distance to walk to the arenas and the train station and nearby shops - location is super convenient. Check in was easy and there is always someone at the desk if you have issues. The room was perfect - clean, no smell, both elevators worked, there was frequent housekeeping. Yes, the bathroom and toilet is a little small but the room is still bigger than one I shared with three other people before. In Amsterdam. Bed was clean, really appreciated the kettle and small fridge too. I would only add a lamp to the room as the one near the bed didn’t work and it’s a bit inconvenient to only have all the lights on or nothing. I would honestly stay here again and recommend it to the others if you have activities in the area to attend!

Great location to the stadiums at a reasonable price. Good dining options within walking distance. Room could have been a bit cleaner, there were clumps of black hair in the beds and I felt very itchy as soon as i got into the bed.

It is fine for what it was. I would not stay at the Ibis Budget Sydney Olympic Park again. The breakfast was ok. I noticed black Mold in the corner of the room behind the door. The cleanliness of the room was poor.

Close to stadiums

Not as advertised. No mention of paying for parking. Had a family with a curtain to separate th shower. With 3 teenage boys this was not acceptable. Will not stay there again. Cheaper is not always the best option!!!

The property is in a fantastic location for the two events that we attended at Accor and Qudos. It is surprisingly quiet and the staff are really lovely

Being coeliac I contacted hotel prior to stay and advised this is accommodated in their breakfast but it is not and after being told cereal was GF I was violently ill. I told reception staff who responded with the staff member is new and didn’t know…. No offer of a refund for breakfast which is very poor

Nice and close to all food and stadiums

Hotel did not provide us with the rooms we booked. Left us 1 bed short, no responsibility or alternative offered. Room smelt musty, no remote for television and no lamp. Only one light and switch at door resulting in a dark stumble to bed

Very basic hotel, price was good for 1 night, simply a bed with toilet/shower and small fridge. Similar to an interior room on a cruise ship.

It was convenient to stay for our daughter event at Olympic Park. The staffs were nice and friendly. The room, little small but is fine for just stay for an event. However, No TV control provided. Have had inform to the reception but no one bring it up to us. Air con a bit noises but working fine.

THIS HOTEL IS SHOCKING AND THEY DON'T HAVE 24 HOUR RECEPTION – SO IF ONE NEEDS ACCOMMODATION OUTSIDE THEIR TRADING HOURS IT ISN’T POSSIBLE!! THE GUEST WILL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY / AFTERNOON!!! 1. UPON ARRIVAL THE FIRST IMPRESSION OF THE RECEPTION AREA WAS THAT OF A PRISON RECEIVING BAY WE SEE IN MOVIES. THE RECEPTION WALLS HAD SOME SORT OF GRAFFITI-LIKE PAINTING, THE LIGHTING WAS FLURO & VERY BLEAK, THE COLOUR SCHEME WAS POSITIVELY MOROSE. I ACTUALLY FEEL SORRY FOR THE STAFF WHO HAVE TO WORK THERE EVERY DAY!!! 2. THE DIRTY FLOORS, WALLS, ELEVATORS & EVERYWHERE YOU CAN IMAGINE ARE UNFORGETTABLE!!! 3. THE LIFTS ARE SO OLD THAT THE SILVER COVERING ADHESIVE HAD ACTUALLY BEEN PEELED OFF THE LIFT DOORS!! I HAVE NEVER SEEN SILVER ADHESIVE LIKE THIS BEFORE ON ANY LIFT!! 4. THE GROSS, DISGUSTING SMELL THAT GREETED ME AS SOON AS THE LIFT DOORS OPENED TO THE FLOOR OF THE ROOM I WAS INITIALLY BOOKED INTO WAS SOMETHING LIKE OLD URINE, VOMIT & DIRT – ABSOLUTELY NO VENTILATION ALSO 5. THE HOUSE KEEPING STAFF WERE BUSILY CHANGING ROOMS & I ACTUALLY HAD TO REQUEST SOME ROOM DEODORISER FOR THE HALLWAY& GENERAL AREAS GOING TO THE ROOM!! I’VE NEVER NEEDED TO DO THIS AT ANY HOTEL I’VE STAYED AT – IT WAS A TRULY, PUTRID UNFORGETTABLE POTENT SMELL!!! 6. THE HOUSE KEEPING STAFF WERE VERY POLITE & CARING – ONE OF THEM EVEN APOLOGISED AND IMMEDIATELY GOT A DEODORISER (SHE SAID) FROM RECEPTION – APPARENTLY THEY DON’T GIVE THESE TO HOUSE KEEPING – HOW INSANE IS THAT!!! GLEN 20 OR ANY DEOD

Although the hotel was close to qudos bank we were disappointed with the cleanliness and general standard. We only had one towel in the room for 3 people. No top sheets on the bunk beds with blankets that we suspect aren’t washed between stays. Totally understand it’s a budget hotel, however budget doesn’t mean not having basic necessities tor the room. Wont be staying there again I am afraid.
