We enjoyed our 2 nights stay here, the room was clean an comfortable and the breakfast was as expected. The receptionist that checked us in was very serviceminded and spoke really well english.

Unfortunatley this hotel has gone down in quality in the last few years. We have stayed here many times but this time we were very disappointed in the staff and room. We were put in a room where the bathroom lights were burnt out. We were told that the maintenance person had left for the day and our options were to move our things to a new room (and go down to the desk for the new keys) or wait for the repairman. We opted to move to a new room. I had asked that the staff confirm that the room was ready for occupancy. All was fine until the following morning when we were in a hurry and there were no bath towels. We called the front desk and were told that there were no housekeeping staff to bring us towels and to come down stairs to get them.

I booked the room with the city view. Unfortunately, we couldn't see anything because there were many building were blocking it. It's not even a convenience location. But the front desk is very friendly. Not the dining staff.

This hotel was comfortable, had a great breakfast, and most of the staff were wonderful. Our main complaint was that the climate control is the same for every room as they either run AC for the entire hotel or heat. You cannot control your own temperature, so even in winter we woke up hot on our first night. The front desk lady gave us an attitude and said to open a window, which wasn't an option because they street below was noisy all hours of the night. She also got onto us for taking our towels to the beach even though we brought them back clean. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay here. Restaurants are within walking distance and parking was free along the street.

It is well located to go exploring the streets of montevideo looking for a turist stop, shopping or restaurants. The Hotel is super quiet, clean, organized, the room was very confortable with good working air conditioning to muffle the noises from the street below. All super clean and neat. Breakfast was really good, with good coffee and a large assortment of breads, croissants, fruit, granola, eggs, ham, cheese and baked goods made in the premises that were excellent. I did not find it expensive, at eighty some dollars a night for two with a good breakfast.

There arent a ton of choices in Montevideo but this worked out just fine. Not luxurious but clean, safe neighborhood, and had everything you need. Breakfast was included and was decent. Rooftop area had great views, good to watch the sunset. Area was safe to walk around and still able to walk to Cuidad Viejo. The hotel is nothing special but has everything you need at a good price.

This was actually two separate rooms with interconnecting doors, which worked well for us. Both rooms slept 2 (either a queen bed or two singles - we asked for singles in both rooms and were accommodated accordingly) and each room had its own bathroom and kitchenette with small fridge, sink, electric kettle and crockery and cutlery provided. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the buffet breakfast which was included in our booking had a variety of foods, including scrambled eggs, breads, pastries and cakes, cereals, fresh fruit , juice and coffee and tea. There is a small shop over the road which sells most of what you may need during your stay, or there is a large Devoto supermarket within walking distance. Punta Carretas Shopping Centre is less than 10 minutes walk, likewise La Rambla. Its a very convenient place to stay with plenty of restaurants around, and an ATM just up the road. There are markets in the park around the block behind the hotel as well, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. There were always Ubers available in the area if you wanted to travel further afield. Reception staff were helpful and spoke English, and housekeeping staff were always friendly.
