The stay at Mystik was very comfortable and convenient. The location is beautiful and right on the beach. The view from the restaurant and bar is amazing. Some negatives: I stayed on ground floor and unfortunately people could be heard moving and talking quite loudly in the corridor very early in the mornings, also the sliding doors in the room got stuck quite often and need maintenance.

Nice hotel. On the beach. Very good bar upstairs. Lovely to see the sunset. Although it doesnt have its own proper beach the is a very nice public one just next to it.Didnt like that wifi was not working in the rooms at all. Only in lounge and restaurant.

Beautiful views and lovely beach. A spacious and comfortable standard room with private balcony overlooking tropical plants.

I travel to Mauritius for business and find that the Mystik is the perfect hotel for this purpose as they have the restaurant, the middle level where you can sit and work and the top Bar. You never have to feel alone even if you travel alone. The hotel is very clean. .

We spent a great week here. The location was ideal and right next to the long Mont Choissy beach.Ideal for couples but not particulary interesting for small children.

Mystic Lifestyle is a great Boutique style hotel with a great location near Mont Choissy beach. It is a quick walk from the hotel and they will also provide you with beach towels. The restaurant had good food, and excellent service, though a car is recommended to try other restaurants in the Grand Baie area as there isn't much by way of other food options close by. There is a small pool one can enjoy as well. The WiFi in the room came in and out, but was a little better outside by the pool and the common areas. All in all, an enjoyable stay, and I would probably stay there again.

Very clean and modern. Nice pool. Great sky bar with beautiful view of the sunset over happy hour. Sunloungers did tend to take a lot of shade and the stray dogs were an occasional comical addition.

Amazing location and friendly staff overall. Still has a way to go to make top grade but management is aware of the shortcomings and is determined to rectify the problems.

The hotel is located at one end of Mont Choisy beach, to which it has direct access. The hotel does not have a beach itself, but a small infinity pool, whose size is further limited by two large inflatable floats. There are a few loungers with sunshades, but inadequate cushions and insufficient capacity for the hotel guests. Wifi coverage is slow and limited to some public areas of the hotel. Ordinary quality breakfast. No lift, but staff will help with luggage if asked.

We really had a very relaxing and happy 9 days in this hotel, which is very modern and serves all your needs. The Sky Bar offers some good deals especially with the happy hour on fridays. But the sea view and the swimming pool are just enough to escape and relax. We then felt the draw of the island and wanted to visit other beaches (Trou-aux-biches, Grand Baie, Perybere, Flic en Flac) but these I have mentioned are all very similar to Mont Choisy (or even a tad worse in some respects!). If you move, Ile aux cerfs is the ONLY place which deserves you momentarily leave the north! Yes Port Louis, Pamplemousses botanic gardens, Chateau de Labourdonnais, the tour of the south can all be very good experiences (perhaps better to avoid Mahebourg) but the Mystik would be just enough for you to enjoy a perfect holiday and local life at the same time. Staff were all very available and friendly (yes wi-fi was not great but to be honest who needs wi-fi in a place like this? Also, I doubt connection can be any better in other parts of the island..)

I also went diving with Pro Dive (5stars) Destination Au Soleil Ltd taxi drove me to Hotel and to Airport; South tour excursion. Local food with Stephanie: lobster and curry fish in banana leaf. Fruit Stand right next to Hotel -also sell fantastic shrimp fried rice. I also joined Dolswim and dived with Dolphins and Whales

Great location for during the day, right next to a lovely beach. Not so good for the evenings as nothing in terms of shops and bars within walking distance. The rooms were nice. Staff were a bit hit and miss as was the onsite restaurant. We emailed the hotel prior to our stay to mention it was our honeymoon but didn't receive any response. Again mentioned by me when checking in but no special touches done by the hotel to acknowledge this which was a shame.

We stayed for 4 days at Mystik lifestyle hotel. This is one of Mauritius's hotels with most charm and style. Great restaurant with menu and service.

Reception wellcome and hotel explanation need improvements No water bottles available after restaurant close time and reception will not help you to get one ( ridiculous )

Would use this hotel again a very refreshing change from the overpriced hotels on the island. Small, friendly with a lovely atmosphere. great restaurant plus not expensive. Go for the rooms with a sea view (worth the extra)

Comfortable rooms. Hotel on the beach. Close to main beach with some water activities. Hotel's half-board works completely different than the usual way. Restaurant, with very good food, on site.

Fantastic stay at Mystik. Near bus stop to port louis and grand bay. Nice view.

Excelent restaurant for dinner. Breakfast a la carte. Close to the beach and very friendly staff.Quite new so facilities are almost unused.
