Reasonable hotel and convenient location. Fridge broken and food froze. Uncovered foam on beds. Lovely flowers on balcony. Some mouse from nearby train track (train whistles).

Simple layout with everything required for a good stay. Cinder block walls for better soundproofing than many places. Friendly staff.

A good option for a roadside motel when you’re driving through Hope. We got in late and left early so our room was just fine for our purposes. Comfortable bed, quiet room, air conditioning worked so no complaints there. The property is older and amenities are few but it’s a great basic motel.

Nice property, very clean. Ample supply of towels, extra bedding, and toiletries and coffee provided. Price was very reasonable. Short walk to local attractions, restaurants and stores. Staff super friendly and helpful.

The owner/clerk waited for us as we arrived late which was great. He was nice to deal with and helpful. The room was old but clean and had all the things. We were just passing thru, we'd probably stay again.

Good location, safe and easy parking.
Two minor problems, door was a bit hard to open with the key and manager helped to solve the problem. The connection for the AC did not work properly, but likewise the manager/owner helped to solve the problem.

No seniors discount because I booked through Expedia. It’s old but clean. No hot water for morning shower which is fine for polar bear swimmers but not for us. Toilet didn’t flush completely. Coffee is a nice touch but no power came on to start it when I pressed the on switch. Beds were fine.

The interior of the room was clean at least, but from the outside the place looks decrepit and unkept. The bathroom was in rough shape, with metal tape used to cover plumbing repairs in the bathtub!
The area is a little run down as well, bring your valuables in from the car.
The staff were friendly and helpful though. A good $80/night hotel, not $155 after taxes etc.

The best 2 star motel I've stayed in. While the motel is quite dated, (think flashback to the 70's with the blue bathroom fixtures 😉 )
everything worked and was clean and inviting. The owner obviously has pride in his business and ensures guests have a comfortable stay, right down to real coffee cups & saucers! Definitely would recommend and will stay again when traveling through Hope.

The outside appearance was tired although you could tell they were trying. The exterior door was very dirty though. However the room had been somewhat renovated, was clean but some walls and doors weren’t. The bed was very good and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were new. There was a strange odor in the room that seemed to go away once we were in there but was disconcerting. It may have been tied to a cleaning solution or something from the renovations.

Super friendly staff, very clean, fresh rooms. The second floor rooms have a balcony to sit on to enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. A short walk away from anything you need and also the main park to see the famous wooden carvings.

The room was fine. However, the road noise was considerable. TV did not work. However, when I rang the girl on reception, she was more than willing to rectify it.

Best Continental is an old (ie. ie a bit worn looking) but clean hotel. I would be happy to stay there again. The restaurante behind the motel is great and reasonably priced. Hope does not have a lot to offer, but is a good place to stop after a long drive, and the Best Continental is fine for that stop-over.
