This was my first stay at a “My Place”. I was stunned to discover that guests were expected to purchase cookware, dishes, and utensils.
Much more expensive than a Candlewood Suites with fewer actual suite features and amenities.

Happened to be there while a conference was on and availability’s was low. 330 a night in Pierre is somewhat ridiculous and not right. Place was an ordinary hotel, clean and spacious, but totally not worth the price.

Our room had bed bugs and we left immediately. The manager was extremely rude. My credit card was charged multiple times. I’m still in a dispute attempting to recover my charges. It was a horrible experience.

Room was to be handicap accessible but had a regular tub which my father-in-law was unable to use, front staff was not very friendly and sad to realize no free breakfast option. Room was clean and comfortable but won't be staying here again.

The parking lot, the entrance way, and the room was very clean. Josie and Brandy were very friendly. We have an issue with the TV not working and after another room with the same issue, Josie was able to get us into a room that that had a working TV. Josie was very apologetic, but we travel a lot and things like this happen.

Good hotel for business stay in town. Clean, fu size kitchen, need to bring your own dishes and utensils. Parking is easy and free.

Booked room for a funeral. When I checked in staff agreed to give be a lower bereavement rate. When I checked out staff said everything was fine. When I received by credit card statement. I saw that My Place had unilaterally added a charge to raise the rate. When I called, I was told the staff was not authorized to give me the lower rate. I asked why I was not told that when I check out or called before the charge was added, the employee became irate and said "don't yell at me" and hung up.

The hotel and room was clean and well cared for. Amenities are limited, but that was clearly stated in the booking info. Overall, a nice play to stay while in Pierre.

Check in was quick and easy. Room was spacious and comfortable, but should have a nice large chair to relax in. Was not made aware that there was an ice make in the freezer that we could have turned on, maybe place a note on the fridge that states that.There was a nice covered patio to sit and eat under in the front of the hotel.

Didnt like that you had to preorder food. We got in very late with kids so we couldnt get the breakfast. Didnt know there was a kitchen before we arrived. No pool so the kids were dissapointed but we only stayed one night.

The Hotel was short on staff and unable to make up the rooms each day. We had booked rooms as a family gathering and members of our family weren't able to check in..as their rooms weren't clean. Sadly after traveling several hours, they had to return home....Hotel should have contacted us about the problem before we arrived.

The hotel is pretty new, so it felt clean. It was nice to have a full size refrigerator in the room and a kitchen, but there weren't any pots/pans or cooking utensils unless we wanted to buy them. Since there was a kitchen, there wasn't a continental breakfast offered, which was a bit of an inconvenience. The food items that were offered for sale were overpriced, and the only coffee pump pot that was available was empty 2 out of 5 times I tried to get coffee. A backup pot would've been helpful.

On our road trip from Seattle to Michigan, this is the nicest place we’ve stayed at so far! Great in room amenities. Full size fridge, two burner stove top, full size microwave, etc.

Very pleasant and restful. Spacious room, nice to have a full size refrigerator, and kitchenette. Air conditioning felt very good on a 100 degree day! Bed was fine but didn't feel like a king size.
