This hotel is right in the hub of the city. It is cozy and unique. We absolutely loved the bar and restaurant below the rooms. The rooms were split between this location and another building around the corner but it was not an issue for us. They were all very very clean and beds were comfy. We will return here, for this was one of our favorite places on our three week trip in England. Loved all the walking streets.

All good - Food in the Pub excellent. Can recommend the Steak Diane. Good atmosphere. There were 6 of us. All happy with our stay. Stairs a bit high to the top bedroom but we were ok. Food in the pub across the road looked good Tilted Wig. Especially the Sunday Roast. The smallest pub in Warwick a few yards away. Excellent. Everything on hand. Couldnt fault it. A great stay everything walkable.

Very pleasant and comfortable. A popular pub — food on tap all day from 7,30 am — seems to be the local business-women’s venue for breakfast conferences! Staff very pleasant and helpful. Central: just a short walk to most tourist attractions, and a clutch of restaurants if you want to branch out. Despite the location, I had two very good nights’ sleeps: it’s not a riotous city centre as far as I could see. No lift, but I managed the stairs, and they took my bags up and down for me. Definitely recommended!

Lovely pub hotel. Room was big and clean. Well maintained and appointed. Great stay for the money. Excellent breakfast too. We had dinner in the pub too - Sunday roast - very good all round.

Staff were great, breakfast was fab

Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean spacious family room. The only drawback is the family room 1 is right above pub entrance and you can here all the conversations, shouting and expletives outside which really isn't ideal when you got young children - we've had to drown it out by turning up the TV volume. Plus the bathroom doesn't have a blind so at night if you switch the light on only a mesh curtain is your privacy which is pretty useless. Overall as long as you can cope with the drawbacks it's an otherwise good B&B.

Excellent breakfast

We stayed here for one night when visiting Warwick castle. We had a family room on the top floor of the pub. The room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious and was set up with a double bed, single bed and camp bed which was perfect for us. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with a fan. Breakfast was delicious! But most of all, each member of staff we encountered were friendly and professional. We stayed on a Sunday evening, so struck lucky with the parking bays outside, but I understand there is parking just round the corner. If we are ever back in Warwick, we would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends visiting Warwick castle. A hidden gem!

Great location, helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Kids not as keen on the breakfast options (there’s no accounting for taste!) Would stay here again!

The rose and crown was very central. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We would stay again.

Lovely place to stay with lots of places near by for dining and drinks (including there). Breakfast was great and they could cater for gluten free which was amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at the Rose and Crown, we chose the family room and was very spacious and clean very quiet at night, the food in the restaurant was exceptional

Great location and breakfast but noise from bar carries to room 3 at night and in the morning and prevented us from getting a good nights sleep

Great place to stay. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Wonderful atmosphere, good wine and beer selection. The staff did everything they could to ensure our enjoyment.

We had a lovely two night stay in mid-January - great location being walking distance from Warwick castle and various dining options. Easy check in and check out and staff were welcoming. We stayed in a room on top of the pub itself - this is an old building so we were a little nervous it might be draughty, but we were pleasantly surprised by how warm the room was and also the shower pressure was good. Breakfast was excellent!

Lovely comfortable room just a few steps away from pub in the square. Very good restaurant at the pub, excellent dinner and breakfast. Short walk to Racecourse.

Room was quite small,windows were very draughty but the heater was good,kept room nice and warm.Tea And coffee that were supplied in room were good.

What a fabulous place to stay. Superb rooms, well kept, spacious & clean. Highly recommend as it’s right in the middle of Warwick turn square but away from the pub itself.
