Due to Covid-19 restrictions the Hotel was not running at 100%. Receptionist very pleasant and professional. Taken to my fan room on 3rd floor (no lift). I noticed that the TV was not present. Asked the receptionist she stated that room never came with TV. Showed her my booking confirmation. She rung her Boss, he gave permission to upgrade me to an aircon room with TV. The hotel is old but does have character. I will book again when the Covid restrictions are lifted. Location great.

This is an old hotel and smelled moldy. The sheets and towels were not changed in three nights but worse was no toilet paper after first skimpy roll ran out. Centipede ran amok in shower. Poor wi-fi signal. The hotel van driver was great.

I’d like Comfort room it was good. What I did not like was no internet connection at the room and the room is so hot.

We really like the historical building and all the woodwork in the wood floors… We love the garden area… The guards in the front desk staff were wonderful… The only thing that was a real turn off was the very poor Wi-Fi…

I'd like to Thank the staff from ate the Manager to Receptionist, the two guards who were helpful, the cook and ate who's signed in the kitchen, the boy cleaning my room. I was comfortable with my stay and at home. It was net St. Luke's Clinic the reason I stayed there. For sure I'll be back.

I don't like the torn towel, tv no channels no bath soap for the guest. Only that but the rest all good.

I have stayed here many times .. it is budjet .. BUT A DATED PLACE... was once a great stay ...still ok but for budjet travellers .l like the area its located in .. that why l stay ... here

I suffered bad food poisoning on my final night and whilst this is not the hotels fault, no one came to see if l was ok (l didnt check out at the specified time due to the sickness which l thought would have raised concerns). I managed to reach the phone on the landing to explain and request cola and water. The attendant who brought it to my room did so begrudgingly and seemed to have an attitude (as if l relish puking my guts up all night!). The room had a window with a view of a brick wall a few centimetres away and was airless.

Excellent place to stay on a budget. You'll love the old world charm. WiFi tends to go off and on during certain times of the day. (Gread internet cafe directly across the street called Koreagate). Staff are extremely courteous and friendly. Hightly recommended!

Was good it’s very convenient for everything u need

Internet was not usable for my business phone calls...it could not handle basic audio VOIP phone calls. Roach infestation, paid extra money within the 1st 2 hours to switch rooms, the room we switched too still had Roach infestation, saw 1 mouse, spider webs and clear health violations, moldy smell. This truly was the worst experience in my life.

Get what you pay for, Staff are great, Building is tired but in a convenient location.

The place was good but the hotel does not suit elderly and disabled travellers due to lack of lift/ escalator. It is a nightmare to climb the stairs with luggage on a daily basis. No phone signals.

An old hotel with a good Location in Malate. We choose a fan room, and the only problem we had, was that the fan was attached to the ceiling and was not pointing on our bed so at night was really difficult to sleep because of the hot weather. We always book fan rooms in the Philippines but never had this problem before. So we contacted the reception at night and they solved our problem in a second by provinding us a stand fan. The service is good, our problem was solved in 1 minute and the location is great. Maybe I will suggest to choose an aircon room in this particular hotel

Our stay has been very good except on the AC which took a little longer to make the room cold enough. The wood flooring is quite a surprise never thought of that! The Wooden furnitures all around the place are quite spooky but they add nice experience to us! The Toilet bowls smell a bit of urine although clean to look at, think it needs some bleaching. The staffs are amazing very accomodating! Thanks!

Place was well located. Front desk was nice. Room ok on size. Shower water was great sink and toilet not so. Would recommend for the price

Good morning, my location there was ok but, I have stayed in cheaper rooms with air condition and private bath. So don't be surprised like I was make sure you read the contract before you book, that way you don't have to pay extra to upgrade.
