A good hotel in general, though the bathroom is slightly old. But the view from the 2 nd floor of the beachside hotel is wonderful. The bed is comfortable too. Room is a bit small but it is ok. U would spend most of your day outside rather than staying there. Would recommend it for anyone who wishes to stay away from the crowd and have some quite time with their loved One.

Super ressort for the price. The staff will literally bend over backwards to accomodate you. Whilst not overly luxurious, the room we had on the third floor was very nice, spacious and comfortable. This is a resort which also caters to families, and the pool area can be a little "lively" at times, but then the beach is literally only meters away. Throughout our stay, young elephants from the local "school" came to the resort beach several times daily, where they would swim with the tourists.. Good fun to watch and again, great for kids. The breakfast buffet was ample and kept well stocked throughout. A few minutes walk up to the throughgoing street, and you'll find plenty of shopping (local goods) and also a number of good eats to choose from. A super holiday at a good location.. If we go back to Koh Chang, this is where we will stay.

The people were all very friendly & helpful, the property was clean and well tended. The only disappointment was a lack of Evening hospitality on-site. The pool bar / café closed at 19:00.

Quite hotel near the beach. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Loved staying at this resort. I did not sunbath or buy drinks here though but just a few metres away at KB Resort. There is a lot of noise from construction

Nice breakfast with eggs and fruit, and the people working at the breakfast were so nice. Close to the beach and the city where you can buy fresh juice, pancakes, fruit, cheap and good dinner. Also a variety of massage-places and travelagencies where you can plan your trip further. I would recommend the hotel. Only thing I can say was bad was that the wifi was’nt always the best, and the beds were a bit hard to my liking.

The place is so perfect that I even think to not write this review just to keep this secret. The staff place and everything around u in this special place is beyond words. Love it and plan to come back!

The Kae Bae Beach Resort was a nice resort located within a walking distance from village and the exquisit restaurants of the area. We had rooms in the resorts hotel building which was with sea view but some 50 meters from the actual beach. We did notice the villas being very nice looking and right off the beach. Pool area was nice and spacious with full day expose to sun. Breakfast was also nice with good variety of food served.

The Kai Bae Beach Resort is a mix of nice older cabins and new 'hotel room' units. It fronts on a well-tended beach. Another several-story building is almost complete. Noises from the island's main road don't intrude. Sundowns are outstanding. There's a nice but heavily chlorinated pool. We had no serious problems with bugs or other critters. The bed and wi-fi were both excellent in our unit. The bathroom, otherwise very nice, has only one dim ceiling light. Management should add a light over the sink that's suitable for daily grooming. During our stay, no one on the resort staff was reasonably fluent in English. Guests are not asked for feedback, either written or oral. Breakfast offerings at the hotel's restaurant are ample but undistinguished. We had lunch there once, and decided that for ambiance and taste, we preferred the restaurant at the adjacent, only slightly more expensive K.B. Resort.

Enjoyed the easy beach access and the elephants that came to bathe. The hotel has a great bar and excellent breakfast.

The room was new and clean, facing with the sea. Unfortunately the restaurant and beaches went quiet after 10pm. Overall it was a relaxing stay for us. Definitely will stay again.

I initially booked 2 nights here planning to find somewhere nearby the was cheaper but I decided that I would stay here for the remaining 8 days. The room is very clean and cleaned every day with new towels by very friendly staff. The buffet breakfast is extensive and I make the mosts of it and skip lunch. Reception very helpful.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel in the new hotel building. Loved sitting on the pod chair on the balcony looking out to sea! Be aware some views from hotel building might be limited with restaurant and other beachside villas in front but I had a good view from top floor. Was happy with the breakfast, restaurant is delightful, right beside the beach so great views. Had dinner here too which was very nice. Beach is quite small at high tide but hotel is set at the nicest part, and on the nicest beach of 3 different ones I visited on the island. Good spot, quiet location, not too far to walk into the village of Kai Bae. They were doing some building at the time, right on the beachfront, not sure exactly what but it meant there was some construction noise. It didn't really bother me but might be an issue for some of the bungalow villas right now.

I come with family and appreciated this hotel, it's clean and very good view from room because it's very near beach. Our children love to swim at hotel pool. The breakfast is good as well

Not worth the amount we paid for the hotel. It was a Lovely beach and had a nice atmosphere. Mosquitos, cockroaches, and lizards in the room. Which isn't the hotels fault but there were No lights to walk around at night time which was a bit dangerous with the uneven floors and stray dogs. The hotel staff were nice but quite unhelpful and the included breakfast wasn't worth getting out of bed for. The bungalows were nice and the bathroom was good with a hot shower but the one we stayed in was near a water outlet which may be the reason for mosquitos. Nice place on the beach but overpriced in Thai standards
