The price was in line with expectations of the property. There were dated aspects of it for sure that needed to be addressed. The sliding door to the bathroom was terrible. Didn’t even cover the total opening. Silly. Was put in a room I didn’t request and was no communication when checking in. Overall, value stay but ensure your expectations are aligned.

She wouldn’t let me into my room even tho it was pre-paid because my credit card for the $100 insurance wouldn’t go through. So essentially had my room stolen from me because of the “incidents” fee. They lost a good customer last night

Price was much higher than stated on expedia booking. The grounds and rooms are not clean.
Other hotel guests made a lot of noise until 4.30am, noone answered the lobby phone when called for help. This inn is neglected and managers are only interested in money and not providing a safe, comfortable, clean stay for their guests.

Linens clean, floors filthy. Shower near impossible to operate. Door from bathroom is a sliding barn door that is not big enough to close the gap thereby letting orders and light into sleeping area. Staff very nice and responsive.

It wasn’t very clean. Although I did like the layout of the rooms but the bathroom door came off the hinges when I closed it. My husband opened the back sliding door and it came of track so we had to leave it open a bit throughout the whole stay and that felt unsafe with toddler and a baby.

Found a lot of long black hair strands in the shower. Stains on carpet next to the bed. Table and chairs old and scratched. Bathroom fan doesn’t work and old window covered by new shower wall. Office closed at 8AM when I left so no receipt

The pool area was a huge disappointment. All the lounge beds were broken and dirty. The pool water needed sweeping.
The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Jeffries next door has a great breakfast. Huge portions so my hubby and I shared a meal. The pancakes are enormous.

Don't judge a book by its cover. The exterior needs a good refresh, but the pool and room itself were nice! Room was clean and updated, bed was comfy! TV needs updating and dresser drawers wouldnt stay closed. Easy and kind check in. Beware the internet going offline. Hopefully just our bad luck. Overall, a decent place to stay.

The room is right next to the pool utility room and there is a constant hum in our room making it very hard to sleep. The vibration hum is loud in our room.

The rooms were roomy and updated. There was a mini kitchen, which was a plus, but it wasn't equipped at all. The 2 rooms we stayed in were not clean. We thought the cleaning crew would come the next morning, but that never happened.

Don’t bother staying here. Needs a complete renovation. While the room was clean nothing else was good. Just a run-down motel. Pool was filthy, wifi never worked; service was non-existent; TV remote only worked if you got up and moved to the side of the very tiny TV; A/C unit was load and did not work well. A waste of your money.

Our room was very clean and easy to move about. The only thing we noticed was that the shower head drip slowly water. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

Our room had a kitchenette type nook with an induction plate, mini-fridge and microwave and modern updated cabinet. Sink, shower and toilet recently upgraded to contemporary styles. Furnishing were mish-mash and worn but not quite shabby. Carpet had a couple of large stains. BED EXCELLENT along with fresh, clean linens, and pillows. Towels fluffy and soft. Nice pool. View from second floor over pool area. Natural environs, trees, etc. exceptional. Small breakfast, lunch cafe on premises. Indian cuisine restaurant adjacent. IHOP short walk across the side street. We enjoy staying there. Each room is configured slightly different than others. VERY SPACIOUS!

The room itself was nice and clean and smelled like fresh paint, and had new granite countertops in the bathroom. Since they are going through renovations, all of the old doors, mattresses, and lamps were all out in the carport, directly outside of my room, not very inviting. No housekeeping was done at any time so I went out to The housekeeper and asked for replenishment of my towels.

Shower water would only get luke warm. Shower drain was mostly plugged up. Everything else was acceptable and I would stay here again as long as they fix the hot water and shower drain.

I used to really like the Hillside, but it has gone downhill. We walked into the room and it smelled so strongly of cleaning fluids our eyes were burning. We had to open the doors for a while to get the smell to a tolerable level.
The room was dingy, and the furniture was banged up and dirty. The walls were stained. There was no safe or chains on the doors. The back door to the balcony had no deadbolt.
I decided to forfeit a night and leave early.
The beds were clean and comfortable.
It’s inexpensive, but not much less than places that are a lot nicer.

The rooms were large and the area was convienient. The problem was that the TV did not work. The clerk did not know how to fix it and the clerk who did was two hours late to her shift so by the time she arrived it was too late.
