Check in was amazing - even a glass of port wine to welcome us. My room over looked the Douro River - what a treat! Plus it was so clean with a very comfortable bed, lots of towels, refrigerator, pot to heat water and a expresso coffee maker. What more could one ask for.

I was with 3 friends and we had a separate room each and we all really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooftop bar was very nice giving a lovely view over the river. The staff in the hotel bar were very friendly.

Warm welcome when we arrived .
We were offered a glass or Port along with some desserts .
The location faced the Douro River with easy access to restaurants and activities .

Hallways look a little aged and the carpets need to be replaced. When we checked in, they gave us tiny rooms that look directly into the mountainside (The hotel is dug into the mountain). The rooms were so small and smelled of mold. I went to the desk and said this was not going to work for us and they immediately gave us a better room with the river view. Other than that, the stay was great. It is a great location away from most of the very busy Porto city but very walkable. Great location and nice hotel.

There was a communication gap about parking. We gad to park about 1 mile away and walk our luggage to the hotel. There was no where to park so we could check in and we had to pay almost $200 to park. We were not told that there was parking available on sight.

Lovely hotel river view rooms were excellent, we really enjoyed our stay and the location was really convenient

We enjoyed being able to get away from the Old Town busyness after a day of touring around and Eurostar is just outside that bubble but an easy communute in and out. Our walks back to the hotel were so enjoyable with the river and views of Gaia.
The patio/ balancing available is perfect for sunset drinks with an amazing view to finish your day.

Eurostars Porto is the ideal place to stay. The picturesque view is ana zing! Walking distance to the shops and dining.

The room was well appointed. It would have been nice to have water in the room daily, since the water at reception was sometimes empty.
Breakfast was 3.5/5. Staff had trouble keeping up with the replenishment of food and glasses.

Less than a 5 minute walk from the Dom Luis I bridge, the hotel is in a perfect location for walking into the old town, train station and across the bridge into Gaia and all of the port wine tasting rooms! Lovely buffet breakfast served daily! There isn’t parking, however you don’t need a car in Porto. There is a roof top bar and spa facilities also on site. We enjoyed our stay and will return.

We had a very nice two-night stay as part of a larger trip through Portugal. The hotel's location is very convenient to walk most anywhere in the city and just a block or two to the funicular or across the bridge to Gaia. Our room had a seating area, a small kitchenette, and a lovely river view. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Porto.

Staff is wonderful, location is gorgeous. Right in front of the river. Nightlife can be loud in city center so it was nice to be away from traffic and noise because of this perfect location. Still walking distance from many local attractions.

Very nice hotel. Large room even by American standards. View was amazing. Service was exceptional. We didn’t try the breakfast. Just fyi, the hotel sits on the river, so the bottom of the large hill the rest of the city is on. So walking will take a while uphill and because it’s a one lane road you have to be quick with Ubers and taxis. But getting a taxi was very easy they pass by often. You really can’t beat the view here it was phenomenal.

Great hotel ! Location is excellent. Walkable to the river boardwalk and attractions.
We loved taking taking our wine to the terrace and enjoying the lovely view of the river, bridge and city lights.
The hotel didn’t have a room to upgrade our room. And gave us a bottle of port wine the first night and not every night as listed.
The blow dryer didn’t work well and they brought us a new one.
They had parking for an extra 18 euro.
Overall we were happy with our choice

Views of the bridges and Castello. Right on the river. There is a noisy road night in front of the hotel but the windows are well insulated and keep the noise out. We walked to everything from here. Room 004 even has a view of the bridge Luis.
It was too cold for the roof bar to be open but I imagine it is lovely in the summer

Had problems initially with the heating / air con in our room.
Unfortunately this took a day to be resolved but the lady (duty manager) spoke to us the next day was excellent- patient, polite and understanding and helped to resolve this issue very quickly.
Overall the hotel is wonderful

We were extremely pleased to have chosen this hotel which was an easy walk along the river to the centre, lovely view. All staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to assist. Rooms were very clean. Continental breakfast had an amazing selection, a relaxing start to the morning overlooking the river. Airport transfer can be arranged through the hotel too. There is a nice roof terrace also to enjoy the views. Definitely recommend and we would not stay anywhere else. Easy to get local bus to top of Porto or taxi. Everyone very helpful and pleasant.
