Great place to stay!

The property was spacious and The front desk was accommodating. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a market right across the street for convenience. Everything was in walking distance, and partially open. It gets more lively on Saturday and Sunday when the cruise ships come in.

This hotel was very disorganized starting at the front desk. When we were checking in there were two other guests in front of us to check in. One party showed their reservation confirmation and the front desk had no room and asked them to wait. No manager at facility. The next couple checked in but within five minutes we’re back at the front desk with a problem regarding their room. We checked in and said we wanted to see the room first. We got in the elevator and got stuck. We called and no answer we pounded on the walls and no one came. Finally we pried the door open and the elevator was right next to the front desk and no one helped us. It was at this point that we told the desk man that we did not wish to stay in such a bad dirty place. Don’t stay here it is a badly run operation and no one has any authority to make a decision.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea Palace! Very cozy and comfortable, the staff was extremely welvominh and helpful throughout. The location was also ideal as we had direct access to the beach and the boardwalk!

My family has stayed at the Sea Palace for many years and the recent improvements that have been made make it even more enjoyable. The staff always is professional and friendly and were extremely helpful with navigating ever-changing Covid-19 requirements. Already looking forward to our next visit in 2022!

Stayed 1 week after St Maarten opened up due to Covid 19. The testing protocal at the airport was a pain. Once we got to the Sea Palace, it was worth it. We were upgraded to a 1 bedroom 2 bath unit - spacious, clean and a wonderful view of the ocean. Staff is amazing as well as owners and the island residents. This was our 2nd time there and will be back again!

I loved everything about this property. Great location and great customer service. We will be coming back in October!

Overall it was great! Check in was 40min late due to our room being cleaned -- a bit unconfortable after long traveling time. But otherwise it was great.

The place was very spacious for a family, it is close to every entire shop, store and beach...if you are looking for a place to stay that would be the ideal hotel for your family...Just bear in mind that there are lots of hotels close by....but for the price and quality It worth every dim

My only problem with my room was there was no hot water in the bathrooms. Otherwise everything else was ok.

The property was fine. My only complaint was not having hot water for my shower. The water was lukewarm in my room.

I loved this hotel. Although it was towards the end of Front street, it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I loved the fixtures and it was enjoyable although i went to a wedding. I am going back soon and i am already looking at dates. Wonderful place.

I found my studio room to be very new, clean and well maintained. It had a full furnished kitchen, full size refrigerator, dish washer, stove and all the things required for a prolonged stay. I'm really glad i choose the Sea Palace for my week long stay in Sint Maarten. The only problem was that the elevator was working off and on, but since I was only on the 2nd floor the travel up and down the stairs was not a problem.

What I like about the resort is the ocean view, and the fact that the beach is just a foot step away, and surrounded by many restaurants.

This was my second time in Sea Palace with unfortunately a total opposite experience: 1. I did not get the roomtype that I reserved (ie washer dryer not present, the room was smaller), instead as a frequent traveler I was given a leftover room. I was simply turned away when I complained. 2. Internet and TV did not work for the first 2 days. The front that clerk insisted that internet and TV were working and did not bother to send a technician. After 2 days I managed to find the router on the back the TV and was able to reset. The streaming TV device had to be reset every couple of hours. 3. I was given a room on the first floor amidst the laundry room, management and other offices and building material storage area. 4. The room was on the street side and the window frame was half an inch too small for the window hole, through which all street noise and smells came in. 5. The AC was too small for the room. It could not cool the room enough. I had to use the ceiling van in conjunction with the AC. 6. I bought a complete pre-paid package. Nevertheless they still charged electicity utility costs afterwards. 7. The room was not cleaned every day. Big pity.

My stay was one of the best experiences I have had at a hotel. I will recommend Sea Palace as it is one of the most comfortable and cleanest hotels. The staff is friendly and they make you feel at home. I also love the location as it is on the beach and in the middle of shopping district. I will make it my home whenever am in st maarteen again.

No hot water. Hair in the bathroom so it was not cleaned properly. Hidden fees so when you arrive at the hotel you have to pay more (not taxes). The place isn't worth it. But the worse was the staff especially the general manager. She is unfriendly and lacks customer service. I had to tell her that she may think I am of no significance but I will use my one little voice to speak about service. They told us to park on the roadside. For carnival no cats could be on the roadside. They never told us that. They called when the car was being towed. I had to pay 50$ to get the car free. The gentleman said he told reception more than an hour before to ask their guests to move. They didn't. I demanded my money back because just like they knew who was driving the car when it was being towed, they would have known an hour before. Reception referred me to the GM who told me in the most rude and unaccomodating manner that it was not Sea Palace problem. I would never return nor would I in good conscience recommend that place.
