What a hidden gem. Having stayed in Beijing many times this hotel was outstanding and will only stay here going forward. The hotel was beautiful, the room’s luxurious, the staff amazing and friendly and as an avid gym goer it also ticked the box. Also on the doorstep to Sanlitun which is a cool area for bars, cafes, restaurants and great shopping. It’s not expensive to stay here and worth every penny.

Very pleasant and unique hotel with artistic taste. A gem. We stayed at Chao 60, spacious with a sofa perfect for kid. Breadfast is the best among all hotels i ever stayed with choice of English/Italian/French/Chinese menu, fresh and delicious. Art books every corner. parking is included.
Staff are helpful, prompt very request. Athena is simply the best. She took good care of us during our stay. We will stay again and strongly recommend this hotel to you.

I did not like the smell of all the towels, it smells like meat in the kitchens. The lighting is too low amd in the room, so cannot see well enough. Also the night light on always on, so i cannot sleep well. The place is very sheek and beautiful. The service is great too. Location outside the hotel is not great, but after a few minites walk, there are food court and amazing shopping mall area that are unbelievable.

It’s walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was so comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this hotel!
Also I wanted to make special mention of Athena Ma. Who was an absolute pleasure and so professional. She went above and beyond for me during my stay. The entire team was just lovely and provided such great service!
I will be staying again and recommending this hotel to future travelers visiting Beijing!

Room was very spacious, 2 queen beds, sofa coffee table sitting area, separate desk with a lid that opens out into a dressing table mirror, 2 closets for hanging clothes, lots of snacks, mini fridge with everything in it - juice, beer, soft drinks, probiotics - all FOC except wine, bedroom slippers, bath robes, iron and board, 2 hairdryers!

Very clean, room is spacious, amenities are all available. Breakfast is good , service good . Everything is wonderful . Just that the entrance is inside the lane . Small issue as many taxi know sbout this hotel . Going to stay there again .

The Chao is absolutely my favorite hotel in Beijing. Brand new and clean. The design throughout the facility is impeccable. Friendly 24 hour staff and quick check-ins (rare in China) make the experience very easy.

Booked this hotel for a leisure day. I went to the hotel at 5pm, but when I get there, they told me that the room is not ready yet. I was so shocked that as a 5-star hotel, they should not make the mistakes like this. So the manager talked to me and upgrade my room for free. Overall , the hotels is good. You can take some great pictures in this hotel

I’m coming with my family, despite it’s a hip and modern boutique hotel, the considered design has made easy and accessible to everyone, which my folks are very happy with it.
Tried the restaurant and the food is nice, service is great, special thanks to Cher the manager, she has made us feel welcome. They have the live music (jazz) from Thursday to Sunday, worth to visit even if not staying in hotel.
Lastly, thanks to the young, helpful and friendly who made us feel home. Thanks to Yvonne, she’s very nice and patient.
I’ll definitely come back to stay in next visit to Beijing.

Everything is so cool about the hotel, I enjoyed the whole entire experience. One of the service guy, Flake was so sweet to take my Singapore dollars in exchange of RMB as I didn’t have enough cash to go to the airport. Room is big, hotel is artistic, breakfast ordering is fantastic

Beautiful very modern hotel. Great location and close to shopping and a wide variety of dining to choose from. Staff speaks English and always on hand to please. I will plan on staying here again on my next visit to Beijing.

My wife and I stayed at the Chao hotel for four nights. Everything about the hotel, staff, room and included breakfast was fantastic. We had a large room with king sized bed. The room has modern furnishings and finishes with a very comfortable bed with luxury linens. The hotel itself looks new through out and is decorated in a modern style with high end finishes everywhere. The staff was friendly, attentive and very helpful. Eddie in particular made us feel very much at home. The hotel is managed by a French national, which becomes obvious when you have the included breakfast which has a wide assortment of continental and Asian food choices. The breads and cheeses were as good as we enjoyed in Paris, but I also loved the pan fried dumplings.
