This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Broken windows, water damage on the property, stained ugly stucco and in my room the desk was literally falling apart. We will never be back to this hotel.

The hotel was cheap considering I paid $300 the night other hotels are closer and better .The staff was really nice i checked out at 11:00 and they let me keep my bags there untill 6:00pm while I was around the island I came back at 7:00 from the beach and the staff let me use there outdoor shower area to rinse off and change in there restrooms

Worst stay ever. Upon arrival we were given a room that was falling apart literally. It smell like smoke and infestation. Run down not kept up at all roaches in the rooms, paint pilling off wall, mold in the bathroom walls, the next room they gave us the front door was damage but it seem cleaner however once inside the window was broken unable to open, the sky light was cracked paint was chipping, the bathroom shower you had a choice of cold or hot not in between. Once we fell a sleep the bugs came out I was awaken by roaches on my arm and my pillow. Worst stay ever. I do not recommend this hotel.

Great value for the money. Had a great room with ocean view, would definitely stay again.

Seems like there were condos at some point in the past....the room we were in was in need of update and repair. Broken blinds, floor was a mess ...only one window a/c in front room...no ac in the bedroom. The stove was from the 70's! Service was great...front desk was very helpful in allowing us to store our luggage before our room was ready and after we checked out waiting for the ferry to get home.

Heinous stench and wet old carpet. Bedding seemed grimy. There’s no real service provided that is traveler friendly. Someone needs to buy this property and stop ripping unsuspecting travelers off. Young lady at lobby was very accommodating although seemed to not have much power over anything due to “ management”

Tv didn’t work, lights didn’t work, no power in room for all sockets, noisy bathroom fan, broken glass door to enter room, toilet not secure to floor, ac didn’t work. Probably the crappiest room I’ve staying the last 20 years.

Worst experience! Upon arrival I realized I was completely deceived as what is advertised is not so. The hotel is a dump, old dingy and dirty! The pictures online are not what this hotel looks like. Upon arrival the room stunk like pot, and ugly roll away was in living room, the shelves and carpet were dirty, walls are chipped/water stains and visible rust. The patio was filthy/a cup with old cigarette buds stood on table. The jacuzzi outdoors was unappealing had a green hose for hot water (who does that?). There are no words to describe how disgusting this place was. Came to Catalina with my family only to have a huge dent put on our stay.

I thought it was cute that they choose a random guest to be guest of the day with benefits of upgraded room, early check in and and later check out. Rooms had older desogn but still up kept and nice. I liked that the hotel was on hill, you can see everything. I would stay here again

Dirty bathroom

It was my wife and I’s 20th wedding anniversary and when we booked we filled out the “special requests” section stating that if they did anything special we’d greatly appreciate it. While checking in online (a link was sent to do so) we again filled out the special request section asking the same as before but also asked for a later check out-w/o a charge. We got there earlier than check in time and front desk said we could check in for a $20 extra fee. I asked if any of our requests were read because it was our 20th and was told that they don’t do anything special and it’s under new mngmt, i.e., they’ll charge whatever they want w/ o consideration. Ok. Fine. The room was a makeshift one as the entrance was through a sliding glass door with a lock that didn’t work 1/2 the time. There was a table that looked like it was picked up from a “for free” corner with a metal chair. The coffee maker’s cord didn’t reach the outlet and there was more decafe than caffeinated pods of which was never replenished. Bathroom was alright-better than the room but no hair dryer! No dresser just a cheap stand with pull out bins made from felt-like material. The floor was dirty! We’ve stayed at Motel 6s that were cleaner and more homie. Staff was super nice but this management/owner needs to have a Chef Ramsey type come and teach them that they’re in the hospitality business. The area was quiet and quaint but there are many hotels on the island that would serve better hospitality.

Furniture in very bad condition. Not enough linen provided for 3 adults. Tv disconnects. Rusty and moldy kitchen appliances. Jacuzzi was dirty and unsatisfactory. Access to hotel requires walking up 2 hills.

Too pricey for the type of room and description was incorrect. I stayed here a year ago and had a room with a full kitchen and big overall but this time I stayed and had a small room with no kitchen and very small. Bathroom kept leaking and really bad condition. Felt like I was at a very poor hotel with no type of amenities

The hotel beds and sheets are not good quality. The bower had a tile that was loose. It needs to be maintained better. The location is good and staff is very friendly. Would only stay here again if there was no other option.

We stayed in room 401 and the room is severely outdated. Had a pungent smell to it. The carpet was filthy and the appliances in the kitchen were a mess. I would definitely not recommend this hotel.

This was the worst hotel. It’s disgusting very disappointed in our stay. Tried calling the front office during hours and after hours. No answer. Will NEVER stay there again. The microwave, oven, bathroom, and walls were disgustingly dirty. There was bugs flying through the whole room.

The places seemed dirty and air conditioner had noice which was really disturbing. We had to turn it off all night . Kitchen area was old and dirty . Bed sheets were not clean either .

Sadly, we cannot say nothing to them from this because they always tell us to go Expedia They trying to help, but on the end, we always short on service Big issue right? Everything is the bad what’s kind of clean but other than that really dusty all over the place and it’s kind of smelly. The toilet was all over the place when we get there pee we have to clean it up so we can use it. I hope when if I plan to Come back is gonna be another place. We are not happy to stay there for three nights. We asked for some chemicals to clean it up the toilet, and the housekeeping lady was kind of upset because we asked for something to clean it up in there instead they can clean in there So for sure, it was not happy to stay there And also checking my banking account they haven’t back to my deposit, which is I have to Request my down payment

Our room door literally could not lock. We got a room with a broken lock and that was very scary.

The staff were nice the. It needs to put the toilet tissue holder in the bathroom. The outlet plug was loose phone charger was not staying in.
