I stayed at SAMS hotel for 2 nights! The staff was very pleasant and professional. The facilities were clean and well kept! I would stay there again in the future!

They check you in swiftly and before the check in time. That’s very convenient specially if you land early. Everyone is friendly. Nice place.

I stay there from Friday through Sunday morning. The first day when I arrived they gave me a horrible room which wasn’t the room that I paid for. After my husband argued with the ladies and the front desk they decided to change the room. They gave us a room which the AC wasn’t working and no hot water only one toilet paper, my husband and told them about the AC and The hot water a guy came to look at the water he said gave him a minute he’ll be back NeVER See him again. I spent the whole time there with no hot water and AC. The front dest was not apologetic at all, the lady told me it’s normal for the AC to stop working and it has nothing to do with them. After paying almost $500 for a room for a weekend I arrived on Friday at 2pm and Sunday 11:28am they were already knocking on my room door for us to leave. NEVER again, unprofessional, rude, no customer service at all.

It waste of money a motel room is very much better than that. Nothing is good, pipes , electric wire all are exposed an represent an security hazard.

Everything is fine except the shower head that needs to be fixed because water does not spread equally and the water comes out extremely slow without any pressure

When I got to the hotel I was told my reservation was sent back to Expedia. I did not book through Expedia, I booked through Hotel.com. They did find me a room since it was paid for. The room only had one source of light a ceiling fan which did not work. The room was big, the water was hot, the a/c worked 95% of the time due to the fact they had a great generator. Wifi worked great in the lobby not great in the room.The bed was hard as a rock and a mattress spring was coming through.

Affordable Haitian dinner the night before with a few last Prestiges, and quick omelette sandwich breakfast early next morning. AC is good, room was spacious, staff very courteous. I recommend. The taxi the receptionist ordered cost $20 to the airport, so bypass that if you can.

Sam's is a real find, near airport but very good price, brand new, super clean and pretty, lovely staff, good food. Rooms not huge but decent size, bathroom very well done, bed good though full not queen size.
Only issues - no coffee at 6am as promised, reception/billing very slow, and no table in room as it had been 'borrowed' for a convention downstairs!

Nice clean place with great TV. However, I purchased the deluxe room and didn't think about it till I had been there a couple of hours n they just gave me a little room, it is close to airport but nothing interesting close to hotel. Standard overpriced Haiti hotel food. Nice view from the roof.

Well ! I have been going to Haiti for past five (5) years. And I have been discovered this hotel.
It's okay though if you aren't looking for luxury.
The staff are not too bad. And the room was fine. The only thing that I didn't like about it, is the cafeteria. The cafeteria should have be in a separate areas.

The hotel is quite pleasing and the staff was friendly and helpful. This was my first time to Haiti, so I can not comment on what to do in the area as I was traveling north on the next day. The food that was prepared during the afternoon was quite excellent and made to transition a little easier. But I have to be honest where during the night there was no A/C and I did not have a pleasant rest, but the manager/owner didn't realize I had experienced that. I mentioned the problem earlier in the day and evening about the problem. The view from the hotel is excellent from the top floor as you can see far towards the mountains. I know the hotel is still working on improving things and I would still suggest to give the location a try.

SAMS is a sweet new hotel. It is very near the airport, safe, friendly, very clean. Parts of it are still under construction but it was not disruptive to our stay. Food is good.
