I know the rooms in Japan are small however I stayed in rooms more comfortable and bigger than this one. Metro station just across the street that’s very convenient. Spa was excellent

The problem was not about the room’s tiny size or mediocre location (my mistake). It was a bad experience because of old and bad-smelling carpets everywhere, of unfriendly and non-English speaking staff, the men were specifically on the verge of being rude. On my departure, they gave bad instructions to my taxi driver although I had shown them a photo and Japanese spelling of my bus stop to the airport. Alas, I was brought far from the required location. This cost me money and energy. Never again!

this hotel was clean, but don't have room service, only on then day 3. we stay only two nights. The breakfast service was very good, despite was only one person attending all the customers. She did a wonderful work.

small rooms yet very well accommodated. Great location a minute away from train station. Easy check in, check out and luggage storage. Decent amenities like razor, shower cap, hair elastic, pjs etc

It was really clean and the room service was pretty good.

The hotel really needs to teach the staff how to clean the rooms. We stayed for 12 days, and during these days the carpet in our room was not vacuumed, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. The chairs in the rooms were dirty. We asked the front desk to vacuum our room and clean the bathroom (even mentioned what to clean and etc); however, not much a difference.

Hotel is ok, staff is ok. Location is great!

Pros: train station nearby, shinjuku also pretty close by cab or Uber. Cons: staff not very proficient in English. Charges per hour for late checkout.

Excellent location; pretty safe area

This hotel offered quite small rooms in a supposedly "resort and spa" setting. If you want to use the pool or the spa there is a charge. The small pool is more adequate for a children's pool as the depth is barely 3 feet in an area smaller than the size of my living room at home

The rooms are really very small. The property is conveniently located in a quiet and safe area (almost all places in Japan are anyway). I like how it is so accessible to subway, like one minute walk. It is near Shinjuku and Shibuya and all other tourist spot in Japan. The price is super cheap too. Its just hard to communicate but people are super helpful and do their best to communicate.

Enjoyable 5 night stay. Although our room was tiny and had no cupboards or drawers. Was still able to make do. The reception area is nice and the staff were friendly also. The Irish bar downstairs was also a nice place to finish an evening when you’re not right in the heart of Shinjuku. Although it’s in the Shinjuku area it’s not in the real hustle and bustle. It’s 2 stops after Shinjuku. So if you wanna be in the very heart of the action then this may not be for you. We actually didn’t mind being a bit further out and actually walked from the golden Gaia area of Shinjuku which took about 30 mins to the hotel. So all in all for the price wasn’t too bad and would stay again.

The front desk staff are very accommodating. Room size is pretty small but manageable for couple. Close to train station and convenient store.

As a solo traveller, and my first time travelling outside my own country, it was very convenient and safe place to stay. I’m tremendously grateful for the welcoming staff and their hospitality. When I travel back to Japan I would be honoured to stay here again.

This was a great option for our family’s stay in Tokyo! Exceptionally clean, very kind staff, a fantastic onsen on the property - all really great features. The rooms are small, so if you’re looking for US-sized hotel space, you won’t find it here. BUT it was a good value for the price and they provided excellent amenities. No need to bring shampoo, conditioner, soaps, facial cleansers, robes - they are all provided by the hotel. The staff was very friendly and did their best to communicate in English (Google translate helped tremendously). Good location, just steps from the NISHI-Shinjuko-Gochome station on the Oedo line. I would recommend going for the larger room if you are a couple or have large luggage- the smallest room does have a double bed, but not much space for 2 to walk around. We would stay here again!

Upon check in, I noticed that none of the front desk staff smiled at all . They were so cold & didn't really make you feel welcome. The same thing happened when I returned to check back after a trip out of town. Sad to say but they need more training especially since they are in the hospitality business. The room is small but has an efficient layout out & space has been maximized. Beds are higher so you can store your luggages underneath. Well stocked bathroom amenities. Lawson & family mart across the hotel. Overall a nice hotel.
