The property is very spacious and clean however it was advertised that it is an air conditioned unit but the AC (just namesake AC as it felt like a fan, not cool enough) is in the living room and both the bedrooms didn't have any ventilation or any cool air coming in. One of the fans provided was not working and there was no response when we requested for one so we had to use the futon to sleep at night instead of one of the bedrooms. There is a cooler in the kitchen which was pointless as it didn't direct any cool air to the bedrooms. It will be very hot in peak summer.The apartment is in a space with limited parking so beware of finding parking as street parking fills up fast. The heat dampened the mood of the stay else it would have been good stay.

The apartment was very nice and location perfect right across metro and Montreal stadium. Easy entry. Our only issue is that in the semi basement unit, the noise from above floor occupants is loud and prevent me from sleeping. Parking situation is perfect with neighbour renting space.

The self check-in and check-out makes it a discrete accommodation option, as you won’t have to interact with reception staff. The room was renovated, modern, with comfortable bed and bedding. Nice, new bathroom, but no TV.

Located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the train and walking distance from the botanical garden, biodome, and planetarium among other parks. Instructions to get into the building and room were clear and the place was clean and well maintained. We rented parking in a neighbor’s driveway around the corner as the property suggested, which was convenient and inexpensive. My only note is that the front door of the building didn’t consistently close/ lock properly.

I liked that is was 2 bedrooms and very cozy and clean. You have to really pay attention on where you can and can not park on the street.The hotel does offer a number to call to reach out to them if you have questions about the parking.

Near the olympique park, biodome and botanical gardens. Nice quiet place, metro station is in cloudy proximity.

Parking is a little bit of an issue with this place but besides that everything was great.👍👍

We adored our lovely little gite. It felt so homely. Sure it was a bit compact and creaky at times but it felt so charming especially with its view to the tower on the Montreal Olympic stadium! Couldn’t have been closer to the metro which enabled us to explore the whole city and produce unforgettable memories. Parking was difficult as there are major restrictions unless you’re a resident (not very accommodating for visitors) but we were able to stay on a neighbours driveway who was accommodating at a price. Overall a great stay.

Cute, clean, and very easy to the biodome/botanical gardens area as well as great food in Hochelaga. We walked everywhere. Such a good value, we would definitely recommend!

Great value. Only downside is you will have to figure out parking. Place gave clear options and directions to help.

Needs better insulation in the unit downstairs. We can hear everything our upstairs neighbors do!!

I liked my stay in this hotel. It is clean quiet i recommend strongly. And wish more progress and grow The only thing whick make me think twice before booking again, that i received a ticket and my car was towed. Even they did not put any notice about the snow removal. :(

The accommodation was pristine and large. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was so comfortable.

Very good facility for the price and accurate what they provide. Very clean, excellent location to use public transportation. We had a car and this was most challenging throughout our time in Montreal. Parking is at a premium in that it is very difficult to find. We were fortunate to be able to pay for a place just down the street as a referral from the property owners.

Clean simple affordable hotel in a cozy neighborhood. Full kitchen and laundry. WIFI. Quiet hotel. Convenience store around the corner and 2 min walk to the botanical gardens and biodome/olympic stadium. You have to be buzzed in but it was very easy and the person was very helpful. Its on a bike path and a 1 min walk for ebikes or the subway Parking is difficult i parked out front on the street to bring my stuff inside and when i returned there was a ticket on my car. You can call one of the neighbors who will charge you a low price to park in his driveway or you can park at the stadium for a bit more $$. the room was very clean and well designed lots of space in the bathroom for personal items. Large closet. The only thing missing from my room was a comfy chair. Would definitely stay again.

This property is a hotel/bed and breakfast blend. You have a private room and bathroom but the kitchen and main entry is shared. If I’d known that I’m not sure I would have booked it. But it was comfortable and convenient to the Pie-IX metro stop. Would’ve liked it to have been dusted better (headboard and center light) and the outlet on one side of the bed was wired to the switch (can’t charged my phone while I’m sleeping unless the switch was on and the bulb unscrewed). Overall not a bad place to stay, but I probably won’t return.

Nice room in a quiet setting. We had a private bath, but one that was outside the room and accessible through a common area, so not ideal but no big deal. Location and cleanliness were excellent.

Had a great time here with some friends. Literally right beside the metro which is one of the best transportation systems I’ve been on. Very nice neighbourhood just outside downtown. Would stay here again.

Easy check-in. Close to metro. Cleaning staff were excellent. There is no tv in the room and the decor is a little outdated, but overall a nice experience.

We had a great stay at le Gîte du Survenant. This is a property with a self-check in and a large shared kitchen. The room was clean and tidy and exactly what we needed, with a fold out bed for our child to sleep on. There was a spacious bathroom with a shower/tub perfect for our family, and recommendations from the host about where to stay. The hotel is located near the biodôme which was convenient, and had a fridge and plates/cutlery for meals in the shared kitchen. In terms of improvements, the curb appeal of the property isn't great (looks like an old converted apartment) and parking was a challenge. We had to park a few blocks away and walk up with our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised when opening the room door to find a beautifully decorated space. Overall we had a great stay - thank you!

The apartment is easily accessible via public transport (metro). Check-in details were received in time and went smoothly. Owners were very responsive via messaging. Apartment was clean and everything was available for preparing your own breakfast and lunch.

Comfortable, spacious room. Easy walk to nearby Metro station. Access to shared kitchen space was convenient. Excellent value.
