Great staff, amazing food, well designed and the bed was super comfortable.
But the music from the restaurant below was SO LOUD in the room. All the furniture felt like it'd had Mary Poppins' spoon full of sugar. The toilet seat was literally dancing to the beat. Avoid staying on the 2nd floor

Really love this hotel! Such a vibe! Quiet, comfortable bed, pillows, clean and the lobby/lounge/bar are incredible! Great location, super safe area, lots to do.

Great hotel and enjoyed the stay. We sat at the bar for about 30 minutes while staff continued to walk by without alerting us that it didn't open until later that evening, but honestly other than that things were great. The hotel is beautiful. There was a DJ in the lobby/restaurant the night we stayed, you can hear it from your room but we expected this so wasn't a bother to us at all however something to keep in mind, depending on the nature of your trip. We were in DC to party so it was fine with us

Hotel is beautiful in all areas EXCEPT the rooms. Rooms need an entire upgrade. For the luxury advertised and the price point, the rooms were beyond unsatisfactory. Staff service took an hour to deliver an iron, broken mirror, low water pressure, worn carpet, flooring with holes and outdated furniture. Very disappointed customer.

It was a beautiful hotel with great atmosphere. Check-in was easy and fast and room was clean and nice. People are nice there and the building has a joyful energy. Room service was great too. I really enjoyed the staying here. I really recommend this hotel :)

The rooms are very on the minimalists side of things… like concrete floors minimalists..
Ac didn’t work the shower pressure was none existent.

The stay was great, the extra fees after checkout not so much. There is a $30 per day destination fee in place and if you need to park, find somewhere else because they only offer valet and it’s $65 per day! Yikes!

Great room, a bit small. Service, and overall atmosphere at the lobby and the hotel was superb. Restaurant adjacent to the hotel also great for breakfast and a quick bite. Perfect location, close th GWU and near restaurants and fine dining venues

I will definitely be coming back to truly yours DC. I’d love a nice boutique hotel with great dining and drink options inside the hotel. It Really has a nice vibe and the decor is really eclectic. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only gripe is parking is ridiculous, but it’s DC so what can you do? All in all, I truly enjoyed my stay and I Highly recommend you Booking here at this location!

I loved everything about our stay at Yours Truly from the really hip and stylish decor, great customer service and seltzer and cold water on tap on each floor. They had microwave in the ice machine room which was convenient. The only issue I had was that for some reason, my room key was deactivated for some reason and I had to go downstairs and get a new key.

Can’t wait to travel back. The service received for the duration of our stay was phenomenal. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and very clean.

Great location. Plenty of walkable food options. Walgreens and CVS are steps away and easy for quick/inexpensive snacks and travel items you may have forgotten. Every employee that we spoke to was lovely…. and the property is well maintained and up to date as of Aug 2024. The vibe at night was pretty young, vibrant and lively with the restaurant/bar at the entrance ….but I also saw lots of families there too ….so something really for every kind of traveler. Would definitely recommend.

One of the worst properties I’ve stayed at in DC. When you’re paying over $200/night, I expect at least the minimum: working TV for the kids at night, friendly staff, comfortable bed. This place missed on all of these. TV did not work. When I asked the front desk about it they were extremely rude saying “well too bad, I just found out about the issue myself”. The bed SUCKS! Sagging mattress, extremely uncomfortable. This place is more of a lounge than a hotel. Spend your money elsewhere. Garbage.

The hotel stay for me and my dad was great, it is a very beautiful hotel, the service was great, the room was cleaned every day. They give you information about the city hotspots and it location of the hotel is incredible.

Staff was great, hotel and location also wonderful. Only problem was bathroom door is a sliding door that doesn't stay closed, no privacy. Also the parking is more than advertised. Ida at front desk was great.

The staff (desk, hostess, valet$ was excellent in all respects! Frequent text check-ins was a nice touch. The common areas of the hotel were lovely.
Our room was overall quite disappointing. The bath mat was ripped and we did not have TV access for the length of our stay. There was an error message on the TV each time we tried. The room was small and extremely sparse. The fridge was a pullout that did not keep things very cool at all.
Also, I can’t remember the last time I stayed somewhere in which there was no complimentary coffee/tea in the lobby.

The property was clean and every person on the staff I encountered was so nice. The only problem I would say they need to work on is being more prompt when guests request an item or something that easily accessible in the room. I waited 2 hours for an ironing board and iron and missed reservations my first night but the night manager Sajag made up for it and gave me some complimentary credits on my room I used towards dinner in the hotel so they did try to make up for it and did. No other complaints hotel is great will stay again

We stayed downtown DC, wanted access to queer friendly night life, china town and the mall with its museums. This place had it all. There was some walking in it for us of course, but I can’t pick a nicer place then Yours truly DC that got us everything

Beautiful hotel… decor and theme is wonderful. However, restaurant service for in hotel finding was horrible. Waited over 30minutes to try to order food online or over the phone. In hotel food and drink credit only work from 4pm-end of night.
Hotel room smelled like sewage and due to not so great room ventilation, the room smelt musky and left my clothes damp because of moisture. There were rust stains on the bathroom walls due to heat and moisture (again lack of fan or ventilation). Buy the staff of the hotel were good, assisted great with checking in and checking out.

Cool vibe in the middle of DC!
This place is really nice and right where you need to be in DC…
The staff is super friendly and ready to help out with anything that comes up. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, including fantastic Indian and Spanish ones across the street!
You won’t go wrong trying this place out!
