Very nice hostel overall but they could definitely benefit from some type of curtains on the beds since you get absolutely no privacy and the rooms are mixed men and women. The bathroom is not nearly big enough and has no shelves or hooks to bring your stuff there to change clothes etc

Súper location close to Colombo Fort train Station.
I arrive at 1 am and the staff was waiting for me.
The building seemed to be new and the entrance and inside decor is so nice that I was not sure if I was in the right pleca.
The room has 4 bed, very comfortable mattress and cool A.C.
So far I am very impressed. I don’t know the name of the man in charge of the night shift, but he was very attentive and gave a tour of the place and answer all my questions about the location. 7 stars 👌👌👏👏😊

Amazing hostel! More like a hotel than hostel. I had a private room and shared bathroom and they were very kind to let me in at 4am after my train arrived late. Absolutely lovely staff :)

Staff were kind and helpful made all the difference my first night in Sri Lanka. Accomodation had everything you need and was clean. In an excellent location. Would recommend and will be staying here again.

Absolutely brilliant, the staff are so kind and helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Very clean room and had all the amenities we needed. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly if you’re staying in Colombo.

Really great hostel! More like a hotel with dorms, very modern and in a really nice location. Got friendly with the all the staff, they are super super friendly and will help guide and assist you with whatever it is that you wish to do, couldn’t recommend the place more. Very nice to meet other guests from all over the world also! They have water you can purchase water there or if you have your own bottle there is free filtered water. It was clean also, showers, toilets all good 😊

C1 Fort is the BEST place to stay when visiting Colombo, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 They have dorm rooms starting at $7USD/night, two twin bed with balcony, double bed with balcony and family rooms with three beds.

Large police presence at the moment on street due to proximity of the presidents home, but protests are extremely peaceful (despite the media reporting otherwise - do not trust that!). This is probably the safest time to ever visit Colombo! I highly recommend staying here.

Simple rooms with nice linen, comfy beds and air conditioning. Bathrooms are regularly cleaned. The entire hostel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. I enjoyed my stay and will return again. Highly recommended. Value for money is 100/10

The hotel lies very central in Colombo Fort. AC works fine and a good sleep is guaranteed. Breakfast is being served on the terrace with yummy fruits and an omelette station.

pros:- centrally located; it is in an area which I find very peaceful even at night; very close to the Dutch Precinct too- the staff are very helpful, someone even guide me where to buy cheap souvenirs without asking any for exchange- strong wifi- nice breakfast with a nice view on the rooftopcons:- price is quite expensive- aircon seems need some cleaning as it isnt cooling properly already- the water heater doesnt heat up very much too

Wimbledon was on when I stayed there, and the owner was gracious enough to ensure that I could see it on TV in the lobby. I mention this becsuse the tournament wasn't aired on any of the regular channels, however the owner went above and beyond the call of duty to accommodate me. Thank you!

The staff is very friendly and they helped us with everything we needed since our arrival. The room was a bit smaller than expected from the pictures but all the amenities were present and our stay was pleasant.
