I really enjoyed my stay. The b&b was very near the beach, and many dining options. The hosts were gracious. The game room with old-timey video games was super fun! Just a wonderful stay!

Misunn and Dave are excellent hosts. Very warm and friendly. Their conversation, cooking and helpful suggestions made the weekend very enjoyable. The house is neat and clean, with a nice small pool in the back (very well kept). They are a short walk to the main shopping area and are only 1/2 a block from the beach. The town is pretty quiet so if you are looking for nightlife this might not be for you. But if you want to relax and enjoy a pleasant weekend with wonderful hosts then I would recommend staying with Misunn and Dave.

We had a fabulous weekend at the Colonial Beach Plaza. Everything was wonderful! The house and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Loved the pool and tiki bar. We were within walking distance to the beach and dining . The innkeepers were very kind and hospitable. Breakfast was delicious and healthy , too ! We will definitely return !

Misunn and David make you feel so welcome and at home, they are friendly and very approachable. The house is kept in immaculate condition and has that old home comfortable feeling, with a game room that is filled with arcade games, the heated pool and Tiki bar, you may not want to leave the house. Also, the breakfast is beyond delicious!

A beautiful, refurbished old mansion set in this historic getaway town, with a superbly welcoming host, this was perhaps the best bed-and-breakfast experience of our lives. Colonial Beach is so quiet and peaceful, good restaurants (though few eateries overall right on the peninsula), with excellent wines to be had nearby if you are careful in picking. Our host, Misun, greeted us with a quiet glass of local wine by the pool while we unwound from the drive. An excellent and creative chef, she surprised us every morning with something different for breakfast. You have the run of the kitchen while staying there, with coffee and tea available anytime, plus there is a great gameroom (everything is free) that brought back memories of kids' pizza places back in the '90's. We'll be bck...

Misunn was a wonderful host, the house could not have been cleaner, and the rec room filled with 80s arcade games and memorabilia was right up my alley

Missun and Dave are running a first rate B&B. Our stay here was such a joy and the owners very welcoming. Although there were other families staying over the weekend, we rarely saw them. Well, my wife saw them during the wonderful breakfast. Missun fixed me a tray to have breakfast in bed daily. What a treat. Mybwife already wants to book a return trip.

This was an amazing weekend getaway! The Plaza is a beautiful place to stay and Misunn and Dave could not have been more welcoming. Beds were comfortable and the house was very quiet. Perfect distance to the beach. Breakfast was amazing each day. Pool was heated and warm.
