Excellent communication, great location and fantastic facilities. Bathrooms were a bit run down but couldn't fault room otherwise. Very enjoyable stay.

The good:
The apartment was clean, bed was comfortable. Pool was good (Outdoor unheated, indoor heated). Location is very central
The Bad:
- Completely letdown by the Bathroom which was in a shocking state of repair - Door handle was loose and almost falling off, paint peeling off the walls, vanity in a shocking state with cracks in the bowl, bath was not in good state of repair. All in all needs a very good renovation I was blown away that this was not done (Wouldnt cost a lot) certainly not up to renting out standard by any means
- Apartment is extremely noisy and not sound proof by any means. Especially Fri/Sat/Sun with boy racers and sirens. Other times is still noisy with traffic

Our stay at Chevron Renaissance was excellent. We took advantage of the car space which was excellent and very easy to access. The bed was not the most comfortable and I ended up sleeping on the couch for some of my nights.
Apart from that one thing we were very happy with our stay and waking up to such an amazing view every day!

Central location and good amenities, however very noisy at night due to clubs, furnishings are dated, curtains coming off railings and a sleeping bag for a blanket in the main bedroom. Pillows were very thin, had to fold over for comfort. Room smelt, tried airing it out… not what you would expect for money paid.

Overall the experience was good, except the condition of the furniture and the dishes weren’t clean. We’re required to wash and dry the dishes that we use during our stay there but the dishes already provided to us wasnt clean so we had to wash them before even using.

This apartment was filthy, when I asked about the cleaning at the office and I was told that the cleaning had met the required standards. There we dirt on the fridge, the oven was so dirty it was unsafe to use, to the point when the guy came to clean it he gave up and said he was sorry that he couldn’t clean it. The cupboard under the sink was filthy and had a foul smell. The curtains were stained, the pillows were yellow, there was a bad smell throughout the apartment, they sent a guy to do some extra cleaning but he didn’t know what to do. The girl in the office asked for photos so they knew what to do, because they thought it was clean enough… I wish I could add photos

We would highly recommond this property (3137) to anyone. The 2bed apartment was clean, comfortable and a great place to relax. The hotel facilities were amazing and the convenience and location was great.
We had great communication before and during our stay with Holiday Holiday and we will definitely return in the future

Apartment was very different to the photos. Very outdated. No info at check in inregard to what the resort offers. Lift says pool is on level 2 however it is on level 5. We only found this out by going on the website. More signs are definately needed. If you hand your keys in and try to get your car out you cant use the lifts. Lifts are very slow and old. Moving your car and checking in and out are not quite as seemless as other places. Would prefer to stay elsewhere next time.

The property itself is fine and in a central location. The whole check-in and check out process is not easy if you're driving and parking. There's no obvious and easy reception location as the whole complex is managed by different businesses. I guess Holiday Holiday do they best with what they've got.

Parking instructions were terrible,it took me 1 hour to find the parking with 2 kids.
Hotel was average.
Swimming pool does not have filter cleaning,not clean water.

We booked this apartment for 3 nights. We arrived at 7:30pm out of check in hours. I brought groceries to cook dinner. Every single plate, pot, pan and piece of cutlery was soiled with dried food or had a greasy film over it. I had to go down to coles and buy washing up liquid, scouter and spray detergent and clean everything before I could cook. Also found rubbish under a bed, hair and scum in the bathroom, hair and dirt in the master bed. The apartment was also run down and old. Advised reception in check out, they weren’t interested, just told us they would inform housekeeping. I emailed them the next day as I wasn’t happy with the response. Asked them to refund the cleaning fee as it wasn’t clean and I had to do it myself which is unacceptable. They flat out refused. This company do not provide adequate cleaning services as advertised, so they’ve taken my money for nothing. I have used other agents to rent out in this building who have been fantastic to deal with. STAY CLEAR OF HOLIDAY HOLIDAY!

The only thing I did not like was the complicated checkin. I did not realise that the check in was via an office in the shopping centre and they close at 5pm. The staff were great with communication and all but it made it a bit stressful as I just assume the Chevron Renaissance was just a big hotel and not one of several towers with checkin in based in an office in the shopping centre.
Apart from that it was all amazing but if I'd been alone without people to help me negotiate that experience of finding the office, finding the right tower etc it could have been disastrous for me.

Amazing view, it is very hard to find and need better and clearer instructions. There is 3 towers apart of Chevron. So can be confusing.
My start rating was that there was a pile of sand in lounge room, under couches were dirty (had to move for sofa bed) broken leg of sofa bed.
Other than that, very convenient to shops, restaurants, walking distance to beach. Looking forward to coming back again.
