We only stayed for one nite but found all the staff were ery friendly, it was extremely clean ,food wine very good thankyou

Beautiful place right on the beach with a see view room.

Warm welcome on arrival. Our room overlooked the street and was quiet. It was also clean and comfortable. Lovely bed linen and fluffy towels. Very good freshly cooked breakfast with plenty of choices. A vast array of cereals fruit and pastries too. Staff were helpful and friendly. We even went back for coffee before we left Sidmouth. We would certainly stay again.

Everything was perfect, the room with sea view, very good breakfast, very tasty diner and the staff deserve special thanks, so attentive, polite, happy to help. The only little thing missing was free GB News. It would be nice to be able to hear different opinion than BBC news. We are happy to return as soon as possible.

For me the bar closing at 10 pm is not good. It means that residents are pretty well confined to their rooms after 10pm becuse there is no comfortable lounge area. Most people don't want to turn in at such an early hour. It is the only downside because in all other areas the accommodation and staff are A1.

All the staff are amazing, they work hard and nothing is too much trouble! Great food and a relaxed vibe made it a lovely place to stay. Room 6 was spacious and comfortable, I would recommend Dukes to anyone!

Lovely hotel in a really convenient location on the sea-front. Limited parking spaces but spaces along the seafront. The staff were all excellent and all went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room and beds with a large bathroom and walk-in shower. Excellent choice of meals at breakfast and for evening meal.

room on second floor, no lift available, so no use if you have mobility issues which we both did. Room needed a few things repaired in it, re curtains and bathroom needed attention. For a 5 star accommodation this should be perfect as paid £362 for two nights. good sea view. Breakfast was disappointing as presentation and choice of help your self starters not good. Marmalade missing on two mornings. Got parking first night, but second night no spaces so had to pay £12 to stay overnight at end of town car park. Room service very poor as duvet just flung up which we could have done ourselves. Had fish and chips first night which was very good.

I booked my trip as needed for work, the whole experience was pleasant, staff very nice and helpful.

Great location, have stayed before and would stay again if available. Great staff nothing was too much trouble. Room 7 was very spacious, clean and had a good size shower

We booked The Den, and loved the extra space it gave us. Air Conditioning in bedroom a bonus esp during the heatwave! Food fabulous and staff very friendly and helpful

Overpriced room £386 for two nights in room 6.The room was very dated with paint peeling around the ceiling and above the bay window.I was expecting more luxury,just not worth the money

Great couple of nights, really friendly and welcoming staff from arrival to departure, lovely food in the restaurant and a great breakfast!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and fresh and looked recently redecorated. Location was right on the esplanade and very close to beach and all local shops, busy location. Food was excellent, really enjoyed all our meals.

We've stayed at Dukes previously (before Covid) and enjoyed the accommodation, bar & food. On re-visiting, we still enjoyed our stay. Due to Covid, some things have had to change, but we always felt safe. The food is delicious and its always delightful to hear the waves crashing...book a sea view room.

Pleaseant stay on the seafront. Nice clean room and friendly helpful staff. Restaurant very popoular at all times of day. No parking on site but free parking in local car parks between 6pm and 8am

Lovely room but very noisy as we backed onto the back of another hotel and bi s being emptied and glass being thrown in the bins all the time . Had to have windows open as room So hot . Service and food great
