Wonderful ski-in ski-out resort, walking distances to eateries and marts. Super convenient. Staff are super friendly and helpful, even helped us book a restaurant and shuttled us there.

Incredible service, absolutely faultless the entire time, this might be a 3 star hotel but it felt like a 4 star hotel with 5 star service.

We stayed at the 2 BR penthouse, which has breathtaking views of Mount Toya from all rooms. You get to soak in that image to your heart’s content. A definite highlight of our trip. You can also watch the sunrise from all windows.
The hotel is modern and stylish and everything is new and in pristine condition.
Because we came in spring, the hotel was almost empty, and there wasn’t anyone at the front desk, which was a little lonely. The hotel restaurant was closed, as were many others (even if it says open in search engines).
My only suggestion to them is that out of the 4 pillows in each bed, they have two tall and two soft/flattish ones for belly sleepers. All 4 pillows in both beds were hard and tall, so I had sleep without.

It's a tidy place to stay close to the lift chairs & nice view.
About the dry room & storage, no as connivence as most of the ski in-out resort but just enough. There's not enough warm to dry the gears over night.....

True ski in ski out property! Ski lifts right outside hotel door. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite for 6 nights. In room washing machine was super helpful since we were traveling with kids. Close to restaurants and shopping. Hotel provided transport from hotel to Hirafu Welcome center which is where our shuttle bus from Chitose Airport dropped us off at.

Easy access to hirafu ski lift.
A lot of shops for eating

Just a perfect stay in The Maples Hotel.
Wverything is perfect, we are group of 9 people and got a good stay in the penthouse.
the apartment is spacial, clean and comfortable. Ski in Ski out experience is very much suitable for our leisure vacation to enjoy the snow amd ski. Staff is nice and helpful and have shared us detail information that was needed. I would choose this hotel again for my next stay in Niseko

Be careful with booking your ski/ snowboard lessons and make sure to get all the details. I booked the wrong lesson by mistake and concierge informed me that they will look into changing it to the correct one. They came back saying that everything has been settled and that there was no action needed on my part. When I left the hotel, the staff started chasing me saying that I need to pay 15,000 yen for the lesson change. I was not aware nor informed about this. I had ask them to investigate the matter and they found out at the end that I did not need to pay any fee for changing the lesson. I think it is still a huge miss from the staff asking me to pay something without looking into all the details first. Aside from that, lovely stay at The Maples.

Had an incredible stay at The Maples Niseko with my family. This apartment-like resort deserves all the praise:
1. Perfect location, just a few minutes' walk to the base of Hirafu, where we had our ski lessons. The street is lined with plenty of restaurants and shops.
2. The resort staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Kayne, Brendon, and others who went above and beyond, offering food recommendations and even helping with carrying our skis to the lockers.
3. The collaboration with Rhythm Ski Gear rental is fantastic. The pick-up and drop-off service for ski equipment rental made our experience even more convenient.
4. The rooms are nothing short of amazing – beautiful, spacious, and fully equipped with household amenities like a personal washing machine with dryer and kitchen facilities. It truly felt like a home away from home.
5. Even on our departure day, the resort exceeded our expectations by sending us to the train station when the taxi company was fully booked.
The Maples is hands down one of the best vacation accommodations we've experienced. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit to Niseko!

Pros: Great location in the middle of Hirafu. Ski-in-ski-out onto Ace Family Run
Clean comfortable apartment with fully equipped kitchen. Good ski locker room.
Walkable to shops and a few restaurants.
Cons: There’s no other services or amenities in the property. No own shuttle bus.

One of the best ski in hotel we stayed in Niseko, able to cook simple food, friendly staff and pick up and send to Hirafu welcome center service was great. We will definitely make the next booking again .

Nice spacious apartment style hotel at a great location for skiing. Well equipped kitchenette. Ski-in/ski-out with many restaurants and shops close by. Relatively new and well maintained.

The Maples service was amazing, from the front desk to the bell hops and concierge, everyone helped to make our ski holiday one to remember. It doesn’t hurt that the ski lockers were perfectly located next to a lift for ski in/ski out access. We will definitely be coming back!

We were in Niseko for skiing. This is in my opinion a very large, clean apartment, the ski lift is just there, right outside the apartment. The room has a washing machine. The only one missing is the onsen, however you can fine great onsen at the neighbouring hotel.

If have onsen or just bathtub that will be more perfect.

We had a nice stay here, where the hotel acts like a serviced apartment. Excellent location and truly ski-in and ski-out. Our room rate was expensive but I guess everywhere in Niseko is expensive. The only disappointing point is that breakfast is not served in this establishment. (Need to sort that out yourself).

Clean. Near slopes. Needs a restaurant/bar/breakfast place

Good: good ski in ski out hotel. Staff is willing to help. Valet parking
Room to improve: need more benches in ski locker room

My family stayed in Maples for 5 nights in a 3 bedroom for its convenient ski in ski out location with full kitchen. Unfortunately, even though we expected some hiccups in a new hotel, the level of service and amenities provided are subpar and underwhelming. It is not worthy of its premium cost. First of all, the 3 bedroom is more like a 2 + 1, with the smallest room not even enough to house 2 futons. 1/4 of my futon is squashed against the thin sliding door, which we have to lift up everytime when opening the door to avoid the horrible scraping sound. Secondly, there are 2 rooms with thin and slightly transparent sliding doors, providing little privacy for people who need to change for their silhouettes can be seen. There are also no locks provided for such doors.Thirdly, housekeeping is horribly sloppy. For 6 nights, we were provided with 2 housekeeping services. The first housekeeping looked like our rooms were barely touched, with no replenishment of toiletries and futons not made up. I've have had much superior housekeeping services in 3 star hotels in Japan so this reflects poor training. Fourth, the quality in hospitality training among the staff is inconsistent and lean towards being inexperienced overall. A particular distasteful incident occured also due to a lack of customer-centric attitude. 3 days before checking out, we requested at the reception for late check out - and the working personnel verbally agreed, mentioning that it wouldn't be a problem.
