Really good stay. Very clean place, friendly courteous staff. Trendy modern ambiance. Lobby is so spacious,cozy, with different areas. Since this is a Marriot chain, Fairfield and Residence inn share the same building. One side is Fairfield, and Residence Inn share the same building.
Room is spacious and comfortable. Bed was a little hard, but still comfortable. Bathroom also very comfortable. Decent size bathroom sink counter for the ladies. Comfortable shower. This place is also pet friendly when you want to bring your fury family members. Daily parking fee $14.00. Overall good stay

There are so many positive things to say about the service we received at this location that it would bore you. To sum it up: Great Staff. Great breakfast options. Comfortable beds. Clean facilities. Great parking. It would be remiss of me not to thank some people. A Big Thank You to Peter, Elmer and staff that was working while we were there. These people are truly amazing and helped us to enjoy our stay at their facility. Only sorry I failed to take a photo of you guys to add to this post.

We requested a quiet room and the one we were given overlooked a noisy, busy major highway.The window shade didn't pull down all the way so we heard and aaw the passing cars all night (see photo). Plus, the room next door had several noisy kids that stayed up shouting until late at night. The breakfast was mediocre too. I would not recommend this hotel, especially at this high price.

The hotel was fine. The biggest challenge was road noise because our room faced I95.

This was one of the nicest affordable hotels ive ever stayed in! It looked immaculate, it felt immaculate and it was immaculate! And the breakfast was the best ive ever had from any hotel that ive stayed in thats affordable by far. They even offer good quality gluten free options which i wasnt expecting so i actually was able to enjoy the breakfast. Cant wait to go back. The only problem is, the other hotels i will stay in wont measure up to this one. I felt spoiled.

Our first room was overlooking a noisy highway. Very unpleasant. All the rooms with two beds face the highway. We moved rooms for the 2nd night, but my sister and I had to share a bed. Hotel was adequate.

There wasn't anything unique. Paying $14 to park at a hotel in Waltham, right next to rt95 is absurd. There is absolutely no other way to arrive than by car. Sneaky BS.

Definitely will be back! Great location, easy to get to the subway. Great restaurants near by. Quite area also near a Costco. Easy to get on the I95

Night shift staffs are extremely rude. Our room was missing a bathroom curtain, and when I brought the issue to the front desk, he was rude and told me that there is nothing he can do. Then, I asked for his name, he immediately yelled at me like I was bothering his sleep

I wouldn't stay there again for sure . Room is ok and clean but so noisy . I am not sure if it is an insulation issue . But I couldn't get an hour of sleep . You feel like the cieling about to fall off when someone in the rooms above moves . Nonetheless the highway noise. We were charged for the parking 14$ per day . Breakfast is awful and they don't carry enough food guests not even enough coffee. Room service only come up on request if you are there for shorter stay . I come often to Waltham and that was one of my worst experiences. Prices are misleading as less than other places around but yet you pay for your own parking and mostly will get your own breakfast.

I appreciated my stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Waltham. The staff during the afternoon hours and morning were efficient and cordial. My stay was short so I declined room cleaning. I was in and out, so I can't speak much about experiences outside of my room. I will say that I wanted to stay 1 day longer. On August 25th, Sunday morning at around 2:30am, I went to speak to the front desk to see if I could extend my visit by one day, the person at the front desk seemed bothered that he had to come out and talk to me. He wasn't very hospitable. In that moment I decided just to leave. Maybe he was taking a nap and I disturbed him. His interaction sucked, but I would come back if I needed to.

We really enjoyed the hot/cold breakfast. When we stay at a hotel, we always look for a complimentary breakfast with an assortment of cold and hot items. This Hotel did not disappoint . Check in was easy and the attendant made sure we had a room very near the elevators (my husband has mobility issues. The location of the Hotel was right off the main highway, so very convenient. We would definitely stay here again.

Over 14 days we stayed at 8 different hotels in the area. this one was by far the best kept of them all ! Room was clean and modern , shower was beautiful with great pressure and the overall atmosphere of this establishment is warm and welcoming . BOOK THIS STAY you won’t regret it !!!

Loved them and their location. The room was huge L, the breakfast had such a variety of options and different on the two mornings we had breakfast. The only thing that I was confused about was their housekeeping schedule. The lovely woman who checked us in told me that housekeeping only comes in every other day. But in the piece of paper they gave us, it said that housekeeping can be everyday if requested. One of the perks of staying anywhere is coming back to fresh towels and bed made, etc. too bad we didn’t get to experience this during our two night stay.

Was easy to get to all areas of Boston. Room and facilities were great. Only small downside is that is is next to the highway and you can hear traffic, but it is the city, so just turn on the air fan on high and it helps it become white noise. Would appreciate if the smoking bench outside the hotel was moved further from the entrance doors so one could avoid the second hand smoke if desired. We would definitely stay here the next time in Boston.
