The hotel's location is excellent. View's from the rooms are pristine. Parking is expensive off site. There are numerous dining options available.

Our vacation in Christchurch was greatly enhanced by the assistance, knowledge and passion of the staff. Notably Sam. He enthusiastically provided suggestions of sights and restaurants. After 2 days his recommendations we running at 100%

The best hotel I ever stayed! I like the design of the hotel, simple and modern! Every detail shows its innovation, care for its customers! The most impressed me is the sense light in the toilet that when you open the door, the light is there for you not too bright but right for you! When I first entered the hotel, I felt very welcomed! Staff Faigen welcomed me warmly and kindly parked our car and brought our luggages to our room. The next day staff Sam and Kathryn welcomed me warmly as well! And Sam personally showed me how to get to Lake Tekapo which saved me! Food is delicious and staff is wonderful and make me feel at home and feel like a family! I couldn’t recommend more enough! I will recommend to each one who need a hotel in Christchurch—-choose Sudima Christchurch City Hotel and you will feel like a home! Wonderful and feel loved! 😍👍❤️🙏

The Sudima was such a great place to stay the staff at reception were very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were spacious and fitted out with everything you would need. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Christchurch.

The room was very comfortable and homey, with many thoughtful touches, from the umbrella and yoga mat in the closet to the guest laundry. It was about a 10-15-minute walk from a lot of downtown cultural sites, and there were some nice restaurants nearby, including the hotel restaurant. Both the breakfast buffet and room service were delicious, but there was also a useful kitchenette in the room. In addition, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I don't know if my travels will bring me back to Christchurch in the future, but if so I will definitely stay here again. It was my favorite hotel from my trip.

Nice clean modern hotel, clean comfortable rooms. Small restaurant/bar. Room service menu was limited. Breakfast and meals tour inclusion, again limited but sufficient, fresh juices. Bit of a walk into the town centre, if I recall about a 20min walk. Friendly staff. Enjoyed my stays, thank you

Quiet; a stone's throw from the sprawling Hagley Park and incredible botanical gardens; very convenient to cheap, easy, efficient public transportation, which I used to great effect. Accommodations themselves were very pleasant, staff welcoming and helpful. Dug it.

It was an excellent day. The staff was great. Location was perfect for walking distance into the center of town. Buffet breakfast was very good. I wish they would’ve included omelettes in part of the buffet, if requested by a client, but other than that who was great. Who was very nice cleaning and everything about the hotel hundred hundred percent five star

We stayed in the 1 bedroom "apartment". It was perfect - at the end of the hall with a living area/small kitchen combo room and a king bedroom with large bathroom, nice soaking tub & separate walk-in shower. It had a laundry closet but we did not use it. Large windows and sliding doors to a wonderful large balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy fresh air and nice views.
