Loved this hotel! Very clean and the amenities are great! Definitely would stay here again!

This hotel was very clean and quiet. Even full, you felt like you got a good night rest. We would stay here again. A note if you have a lot of allergies, there were a lot of pets in the hotel. I don't think it is unique to this hotel but something to note if you don't like this. They did not bother us but everyone travels differently!

Clean and spacious. Pool was a hit with the kids but overcrowded in my opinion…pool was fairly small considering slide goes into a quarter of it. Also no hot tub. Breakfast was good with many options. Staff was kind and friendly.

My stay was good. The only issue we had was that we were double charged for the $50 deposit instead of getting one of the charges returned immediately. I was told sorry, and as long as you don't charge your room you will receive both deposits.

The slide in the pool area was exceptional and our grandsons loved it. Very good staff, coffee was good and all was well. Also, very well located in Rapid City.

Clean, comfortable

The room was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the sheets on the bed were the softest we've ever slept on in a hotel.

When we checked in the guy was very helpful and friendly. The parking was convenient. Lots of shopping options nearby and restaurants too. Our son loved the pool. This hotel seems really new. Everything is in great condition. We haven’t went down for breakfast yet but I’m sure it’ll be good as well. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location! Great service!

We enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend the Hampton Inn to friends and family. From front desk to kitchen help staff was courteous and polite, helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again.

Excellent place

We really enjoyed the stay except for the insane way they designed the combined closet door / bathroom door. If you are in the closet when someone opens the bathroom door from inside the bathroom prepare to get hit. I still have a black and blue mark from that happening. While I would be happy to stay in the hotel again I would NOT stay in a room with that combined closet / bathroom door. On a positive note, the staff is EXCELLENT.

Super nice room for the price

Staff was very courteous and friendly. Check in and check out made easy. Breakfast gets high praise. Food was delicious and varied during our stay. Would highly recommend for others to stay here.

Clean and easy access

During our 3-night stay, I had to request that toilet paper be brought to the room. Housekeeping did not keep up on supplying it. Also, on the evening of April 1, 2024, when we returned to our room, we found that the deadbolt lock tongue had been extended before the door was closed, precluding the door from locking. I assume housekeeping had done this earlier in the day. Fortunately, nothing was missing from the room.

The parking lot in the front had over 12 spaces taken up with trucks with attached trailers I had to park in the back where the truck’s should be. No dark roast coffee in lobby and the light roast was cold. No freezer section in the fridge and no tub.

Everyone was polite and greeted you even though they were short staffed. Rooms were clean and the breakfast had a nice variety. I would stay here again if I was in the area again.

Most of the room was clean and updated. Bathroom had hair on the floor and in the shower. Breakfast was good with lots of choices.

Our room was never cleaned from Thursday-Saturday. I had asked Friday night to have it cleaned during the day Saturday because we would be gone at a gymnastics meet all day. Came back around 4pm and it wasn’t even touched. Had to go down to get towels/TP/trash bags on my own. Breakfast area very unkept during services. Same items to eat every morning.

Everything about this place has been great. Quick easy check-in, nice staff. The two part hotel things is odd but it doesn't effect anything with the operations. Will stay here again.

Our experience at this hotel wasn't the best. For starters, we were given a dog room. I am a dog person. I have a dog who is a member of our family. I like dogs. I really do. However, I do not enjoy walking into a room that smells like wet dog. I would never allow my dog to smell so putrid. The cleanliness also seem to reflect that we were in a dog room. Another negative experience came when we went to the pool. The pool slide was randomly closed for maintenance. We booked this hotel for the slide. I would never have booked this hotel had I known the slide would be closed. This information should be disclosed prior to booking. My kids were severely disappointed and honestly I was too. I was looking forward to riding the slide with my kids. We also received a door ding in our car due to limited parking. The one positive experience we'd had at this hotel was the breakfast. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. I could tell that the breakfast attendant truly wanted to serve the best breakfast possible.

We had chosen this hotel for the water slide, but it was “out of order” during our stay. They were also hosting tournament players, who were housed on our floor and up pounding on doors and making noise until early morning hours. I don’t understand why they can’t room all of them on one or two floors and put quiet elderly people on the upper floor!? Breakfast area was full of kids slopping around at the waffle maker, no orange juice…etc. On the plus side, front desk staff person was a wonderfully pleasant woman, all staff we encountered were great. Room was clean and bed was comfortable!
