Great staff, clean hotel and great breakfast

Nice clean and quiet

We were in town for a short stay with about her couple. Both of us had check in issues 1)was checked in and they gave their room away and called us to get new keys, 2) sold out of the room type already paid for and want to charge me an upgrade for a new room. Nearly 50 minutes of wait time and manually checking rooms to find a replacement.

Everything was great except for noise from I80.

Very off putting that our room was just a couple away from a room that was clearly being treated for bed bugs. While checking our room for them found dirty boxspring cover, a large feather and tons of dust/dirt along baseboards.

Great hotel, room is spacious enough with a large TV. Beds are nice and so is the bathroom. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. I would choose this hotel again if staying around the casino.

The gentleman checking us in didn't have much personality (it was obvious that he doesn't like his job). Pool was "temporality closed" and the main reason for going to this hotel was so my kids could swim in pool :(.

I reserved this hotel because it has a pool. Of course it was closed. My husband asked why. Apparently it needs to be inspected by the state first and that they were dragging their feet. I was irritated as I could have booked a less expensive hotel without a pool had I known LaQuintas pool was not available. I cant get my money back, but at almost $500.00 for two nights, I,feel kind of ripped off.

Only had one person working front desk during our whole stay. I had already paid for the room but they took over an hour to check everyone in for to computer being down. Since only one person working, she couldn't look to see which rooms had 2 beds vs 1. No map? Also had to wait 45 min for front desk person to hand us tp, shampoo, bc only 1 person working. Both times were 7 pm, not overnight. Dog hair, smelly in halls & room. Will not be staying here again.

The pool was out of service with no warning prior to booking nor a discount. Breakfast hours were from 630-930 arrived by 8 and hash browns and breakfast burritos were gone and never refilled. Very busy place with no clean tables to sit at. Definitely short on help or on accountability. Pet friendly hotel! Rooms very average nothing over the top. Beds were very firm.

We had a great stay. I was surprised at the presentation of La Quinta, the lobby was is very nice and modern looking. I will be staying in the future.

We had booked on line the room was not available when we arrived and no one had the authority to up grade the room. Finally we were told there was a king room but it was clean so the one gentleman informed us he wasn’t a maid but he would go clean it. He did a pretty good job. We slept pretty good after an hour of waiting.

The website said that they had a pool. Took a kids group to there specifically to swim the day before and after an amusement park. This was these kids ONLY vacation and no swimming! The night attendant was hanging out in the lobby with her biker boyfriend. Eating dinner and watching movies. Making it very uncomfortable for our group to utilize the lobby No soap in rooms had to beg for slivers

As a travel agent I would say that the property has tried their best to take care of the property. The rooms are nice and clean and free of debris all over. The fact that the pool is closed and that was not listed anywhere is not okay. It should be something on all booking sites that gives people a heads up. It is very misleading. Mandy was great upon check in and nothing listed is her fault. The overall property is actually cleaner than a lot of 4 and 5 stars. Trust me. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast but I plan to book people for this location. Please keep it up and your rating will change.

The property is very nice. Check in was easy and the lady that help us was very friendly and helpful. The pool was closed which was a disappointment to the children. Wish we notified before we got there pool was closed.

Staff was very friendly and accommadating.

Check in was a little slow given we'd already booked through Hotels.com. Additionally, there were a couple of cars parked under the portico who where picking up the hotel staff as they got off work. One was playing music pretty loudly and it detracted from from the experience with friends and family

Comfortable rooms, good breakfast, staff was attentive but hard to hear/understand.

Great location, clean, easy to find and park

I missed my turn in to motel. Called front desk & Clerk was most helpful & kind. Would be helpful if a turn here sign was on Adventureland Drive. Motel was neat, clean, & tidy. Breakfast area was nicely sized. We will most definitely stay here again.

I reserved 3 rooms, upon check in, learned only 2 were available because one had to be "deep cleaned" because of vomit or something. It took 45 minutes to check in, and after hauling all of our stuff up to 2 rooms and unpacking, we were told that a 3rd ADA room was available to use. We asked to be contacted by the hotel management, after this annoying checkin process, and never got contacted. The lobby and public areas were clean. The rooms were good enough. The icing on the cake was that the pool was "Closed" myseriously. Would have appreciated a heads up the pool was closed and that we weren't going to get 3 rooms soon enough that we could have rebooked somewhere else. The default answer from the clerk was "you need to contact the 3rd party booking site" when we asked about any sort of refund or compensation for inconvenience. I won't stay here again, which is too bad, given it's proximity to Adventureland and Prairie Meadows.

Did not have decaf coffee at breakfast. I cannot have caffein for medical reasons. I have never seen a place that does not offer decaf.

Everything was very good with the exception of one thing - There was only one little bar of soap in the bathroom.

Unfortunately the pool want working and I brought my grandkids so they could swim! Couldn’t get a refund or any compensation!

I stayed at this property while traveling cross country and past midnight while I was in bed a man came into my room then left. I jumped immediately and went to the door and the man said he just checked into the hotel and was assigned to my room by front desk. When I spoke to front desk manager she told me I should have had the door locked better. Unbelievable! Also she stated she would have have given me $20 off my room rate if I hadn’t have booked on Expedia but instead would give me points on my account worth $20 for the “inconvenience” and that never happened . It was clear she was just trying to get rid of me. Had the manager not treated me like this I would have given the staff a perfect rating. Everything else was great other than that. The rest of the team that works there did a fantastic job. Breakfast was great. Room was awesome and VERY CLEAN!
