Room and pool were clean, the rest was a mess. Deferred maintenance all over. Busy location near highway was convenient, but not reassuring.

Room was very clean

Stayed here multiple times. Usually really clean in the rooms. Area is next to a truck stop and freeway so it can feel a little unsafe as a young woman but I’ve never had issues.

loud noise in rooms across the hall, partying in those room, other had pit bulls and made my kids feel extermely unsafe, bathroom door broken, no one hardly at front desk staff noncompliant with english. could not understand nor speak it. Exit door didn't lock. Would Not advise if you have kids

I was pleased. I really appreciated the kitchenette for my meals. It saved me $.

Room and staff was great everything else property inside and out and around the area was questionable

The room was clean and the staff was friendly but the room ended up really wet due to condensation from the AC unit. It made it terrible to sleep in the room.

Hotel itself was very run down and in need of updating. Room was clean- no frills. We were able to check in early which was nice.

Overall a Great Time! Went to Adventureland. Had a nice pool.

This hotel had NO CART to put your clothes on or your luggage on. The room across the hall from us was being cleaned after a person lived in it for 6 months. It was smelling like one died in it. It was horrible smell!!! Can't be they didn't make him let them in to clean it. Horrible to smell. I was just to tired from the drive to cancel it. I am a sick person and our finale destination is the Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota.

Rooms completely remodeled and nice. Bathroom small, pool was closed and outside doors didn’t lock.

It served its purpose. Much cleaner than anticipated. We just needed a bed and a shower and it worked out perfectly.

Nice location. Convenient to restaurants and highway. Building not secure and empty condom boxes in parking lot. Room was clean, bathroom small.

Can’t beat the price, accommodating staff, studio rooms are nice and have many amenities . Stay to Sleep here and explore Des Moines easily.

I chosee this motel due to the price and value and needing somewhere to stay for our concert we were attending. On hotels.com it showed a indoor pool, so I packed my swimming suit. When we checked in the lobby smelled like cigarette smoke and was dirty and rundown. There were two signs hanging up saying swimming pool cloaed, which was very disappointing. When we got in our rooms they were nice and clean and recently remodeled. Most of the exterior doors were not operating correctly. The one hall smelled like throwup. Probably won't stay here again

Landlord special updates in the rooms, you could hear everything from the other guests, trashy, rundown, and dirty entrances and hallways. Pool was down and no breakfast is offered. Not at all worth $140 a night

For the amount of money they charged for one night, I would have expected some small amenities (hair dryer in the room, shampoo and conditioner). Walls are thin and you can easily hear people in the hall or in adjoining rooms. Towel bar in bathroom was previously broken and had not been replaced. Wasn’t horrible but would not stay again.

I loved all the pets. It would be nice if they had a gated area for pets to let off the leash.

If we could have got a refund & there were other hotels available, we would have left! I would have been afraid to walk in alone / worried about parking my car for fear of vandalism. Halls smelt like bleach. Pool was closed & not working. Room appeared clean - had kitchenette which was nice. Moral of story / plan ahead & check things out before hand!

We had barely any hot water and the bath tub drain didnt even work.

The picture shown of the building is not of the place we stay. Place was shabby, dark room, smelled.

Though my stay was brief, it was absolutely horrible. Between dirty, nothing like the photos and absolutely stupid staff, this was abhorrent. -10 out of 5.

The staff was very helpful when we needed to stay over for another night. This was the perfect place to stay with my little dog.

This hotel seem to have low ratings however we found it to be outstanding in every way the room was clean was well prepared comfortable beds good location lots of things to do right around the hotel. We would definitely stay here again.
